Killington Snowfest?

So a Buddy and I are tryin to plan a 2weeker between semesters and I saw the snowfest at Killington. How is it tho? Fun or too many Chauches? Tryin to get a bunch of local riders to go to cut costs, but no biggie. Yaa I know out West is better, but I go to CO during spring Break anyways so Killington is only 9hrs.

killington is pretty badass... i made frequent trips during college in PA, so i mean..**** i am gng to make at least three trips up there.. but never during busy hours.. always killed like 4-6 days mostly during the week.

Ya, haven't been to any resorts past HV and PnP, mostly went to West resorts. We were plannin on just goin on off dates, but the snowfest seems like it could be fun.

i'm not sure of the snowfest, but i've been to killington inbetween semesters and the mountain wasn't overcrowded during the week. the night life's decent too. if ur trying to cut costs, your best bet would be to stay in rutland at a hotel, but you may be able to catch some really good resort deals by booking now. me and 5 buddies stayed on a side of a slope in a condo for a week for $400 each with lift tickets.

Ya I saw some rates for mtn side for around 500. The only thing I'm worried about is coverage, but that's a gamble everywhere.

in january u should be good with coverage. we ran into that problem on day one, but luckily had some significant snow the next day. if the trail from the slope to ur condo isn't snow-covered, they run shuttles all day between snowshed and a bunch of stops in the slopeside villages.

Nice, thxs for the info man. Gonna leave early on the 4th, spend 2 days at Whiteface(maybe Gore too), then on to Killington from 6th-12th.

I hope it is, Gonna get a at the base, ride from first lift to last, then party all night till the next for a week. We might change Whiteface and go to Gore Mountain, depends. We are tryin to get alot of people to go, but since it's not season time, it's harder to get ahold of people I ride with.

Killington wont have much snow in January yet. They always have a January thaw. There will be some good riding especially if it snows a little.. but the best time to go is after february IMO.

It will still be fun nonetheless, not talkin ya out of it.. just lettin ya know.

Damn, Well as long as it's fun and they have a decent amount open I'll be happy. I'm hopin for a good winter this year, but the keyword in that is hopin. Thxs for the info tho, tryin to get a good insight to let others know.
