ok so me and some of my friends are tryin to get a trip to colorado together for sometime right after christmas, but prices go up then and we dont have much cash. Where is a good place to go that is at least somewhat cheap at that time but still has good boarding? and if it had a park it would be even better

ummm good luck. I dont know what you consider cheap but look online... sometimes you can find deals for like 4-5 days of skiing for $300-450. Rooms are costly if you stay in and or anywhere near the mts.
Maybe if your lucky you can fine someone on here to crash with for a few hundred bucks.

Utah.
Best traveling bang for your buck.
The Ogden area resorts tend to be cheaper than Park City or the Canyons areas. I was getting tickets for under $50 a day for Powder Mountain and $59 a day for Snobasin. Both worthy areas. The day of your arrival, rent a car and go up to Park City. If you sign up on their website they will give you a free lift ticket for the day of your arrival. At least they have done this the past couple of seasons so I don't expect it to change much. Then drive north about 45 minutes to an hour to Ogden or Eden and stay there.
You could also look at more off the beaten path ski areas in Colorado. Cheap lodging can be found in South Fork and Wolf Creek is about 15 minutes away from there. Most snow in Colorado and a nice mountain. Lift tickets are generally under $40 a day there. Monarch Ski area is much the same. Not huge vert, but they have worthy terrain and lots of snow plus cheap lift tickets. You could stay in Salida for around $40 a night. Fly into Colorado Springs and it's a two hour drive to get there. Just some ideas...

Cheap, Christmas, Snowboarding and Vacation are words that should never be used in the same post in any combination

Well I bet you could find a cheap deal on Echo mtn. Park. 25 dollar weekday lift tickets 35 dollar weekend tickets. Relatively close to Denver so I bet that right there would help with housing.

hey i grew up in colorado. Look online for gas stations that are giving out package deals also look into kingsupers grocery store. Those are the best chances youll get during the holidays. also another thing you can do is get a **** load of people to go and the the whole thing can end up being really cheap. my college snowboard club is going to breck new years week, 50 of us and all we have to pay is 600 for a 6 day trip.

^^^^I agree with you on getting a **** load of people together. Last year I went to Utah with a group of 20. We stayed in a massive condo. It had like 5 room with sleeping for 15. Some people had to sleep on the floor but it was still pretty sweet. I think that for 6 days of snowboarding, lodging, food, and gas money, I spent about $650. I know that we could have found a cheaper place to stay but we wanted to be as close to the canyons as possible.
