I'm pretty sure I'm going out to California this winter. My grandma is going out in November, and my mom thinks I should try and go out during that time (maybe even as a birthday present, mine's November 19. How sick would that be?)

When does the snowboarding season start at Kirkwood, Heavenly, Boreal, and other places around that area in Cali? Is it any good in November?

They'll all be open most likely, but November is usually just getting started, however if they get hit with 1 or 2 early season storms, it could already be really good by then. Definitely go!

Ya that is a good time or even wait tell mid Dec then you will be set for sure.

My grandma is going out in november to visit my aunt, and my parents think I should go out around then, cause she'll be there also (why that matters, I don't know). But I didn't know if it would be any good.
