i am in my last year at 6th form in the uk and in the months off i have next summer ( from july til october) does anyone have any recomendations of any places me and a group of likeminded friends could go? it has to be cheap and we dont reeli mind the location as long as we have a chance of some good pow pow!

Keep in mind that he's from the UK. Depending on what he considers "cheap" he could probably have a fun trip in the US or South America somewhere.

the locations not reeli a factor, wud jus b interested if anyone can recommend somewere that was worthwhile n wudnt break the bank..but on the subject of freezers u yanks have the biggest of all, in the uk if u go to buy a big freezer its advertised as a "american style freezer"

New Zealand or South America are really yor only options. If I were you I'd take a gap year and do a season.

why cant he hit the alps? I mean i dont exactly know how expensive it was because i didnt have to pay anything for the instructor exchange program thing but the Swiss Alps were SICKSICKSICKSICK!

It has to do with the dates. Between July and October there aren't many places open in the Alpes, and those that are have limited areas (glacier only). Tignes, Les 2 Alpes and parts of Chamonix are open and available, but they're pretty poor as you can only ski/board a few hundred meters.
I never work the states because you can't beat the sheer size, vertical and variety of the Alpes.

^ah... i see. I didnt even see the dates...
Oh well i do have one suggestion then... Chile or Argentina. They are fairly cheap... minus the plane ticket.
