Is it just me, or is lodge food WAYYY too expensive?
Too expensive!!!!!!! You could feed a small 3rd world country with what you spend on lodge food!
Camel back and some power bars on the chair is all you need!!

Yeah, the foods way too expensive. I try to bring snacks in my bag that I can eat, but if I'm there for the whole day I end up spending anywhere from $6 to $8 for food. It could be worse I guess. If I go to Snoqualmie Pass, the food's cheaper than some places.

I usually always pack a lunch for all of us when we ride. We're usually up at the Mt. for 6+ hours. Lots of sandwiches, fruit and energy bars. Plus some brew for the ride back or lunch. The only thing we usually buy is drinks to warm up half way through the day. Damn food is ridiculously expensive!

Never eat at the resorts. They know that alot of people are too lazy to pack lunches and will gladly pay the desperlazy prices that they have set. They've gotcha by the cahones once you are there.

depending on where you go, sometimes there is some sort of fast food place that is close. That's the way to go, send one person to pick **** up for the group :)
