Catching Ontario Snow

Some friends and are going up to ON in Jan. sometime around Ski & Snowboard week. Anyone know what evens are planned? We're looking to stay in a hostel, anyone know about HI Toronto or Global Village? Also, what's nicest mountain around there?

Bluemountain.ca is a big one, very busy though and some of the runs are an obstacle course with people sitting down everywhere.. never went during week, probably better.. MSLM is the other one i've been to, its smaller but I've never seen it more busy than bluemountain. Both are a bit outside of the city.

Blue mountain is indeed the biggest, and the great snowfall this year coupled with the lack of snowfall last year makes me believe it'll be something like the Eliminator in American Gladiators. Or Powerball.

It's a solid mountain, but it'll be crazy on the Easy Street. It'll be less chaotic around the blacks.
