Mannnn. My mom did all this research to go there over winter break...except for the part where its ski only. Why couldn't this have happened sooner!?

REALLY?!?! i went there once in elementary school....and skied. it seemed like a pretty nice mountain...of course i was like 8, so what do i know? definately gonna get put on the list of mountains to visit.

i doubt it. its probably just a coincidence. think about stuff they have to do to accomodate snowboarders. ive never ridden there so i dont know if they have a park or are they implanting more stuff? they have to purchase gear to be able to allow customers to rent it. the decision was probably made in this past summer and someone from burton got word of it and made the contest.

is taos anything special like in terrain is there anything really sick about it or is it just a normal resort and the only reason everyone is going is cuz they are opening up to snowboarders. If theres nothin special I don't really see the point of going most likely they only opened up to us cuz of money so i don't see the point of supporting them but then again I don't know if the terrain is sick so maybe there is a real good reason.

TAOS is suppose to be pretty sick. Looks like they have a lot of super nice cliff run and ****. The skier there are sooooo fucin butt hurt about it. I was reading this forum about it on there site and there sayin that snowboards F up the mountain and we are all crazy and reckless. Its bull**** Im cruisin out in March hopefully for opening day. Lets show those skiers what shreddin the gnar is all about.

word man obv since they ski there they don't know **** about snowboarding. Besides a ****ty skier ****es up the mountian just as bad as a ****ty snowboarder and a good snowboarder only makes one track then they carve instead of 2, so actually skiers **** it up more. and it doesn't even make a big differenace haha their just bitchy.

Damn right man. You should watch the video on transworld about them riding Taos before opening day. Skiers are sayin that is absurd and **** that they let us ride there. HAHAHA they really just need to loosin up those robot boots and chill.
