This was at a fair/religious festival in south thailand. He rode a dirtbike standing up with no hands around this thing. Out of hand to say the least. Take note of the "barrier."

it was pretty much between that picture and the first one

for the record i picked the picture based on the relativity to the subject, or at least thats how i was taught to critque in my photography class. the ghost image reminds me of pinhole camera pictures ive done before. the beach picture is gorgeous really. ridiculous props on that one. but doesn't show as much movement as the first.

the only gripe i have with the ghost image shot is that there isn't really a focus in frame. exposure is ok, I would adjust my composition a bit though.

And "rules" of photography are just suggestions, they don't always work and the best photographers, in my opinion know when, and do quite effectively, to break the rules.

thanks for the feedback guys. theres always improvement. esp. for me. im thinking of taking a photo class next semester. so i can get an idea of what im doing. i didnt properly do the white/black conversion. i never got around to re-editing the picture.

yeah, in all honesty, i don't do much photography (i enjoy taking pictures and looking at others, but I dont have the money) and just threw that image up to maybe get the contest rolling... when i took the pic i was simply documenting a weekend of mine...
