Since the last one died out, I figured Id try to revive it a bit, since it is getting warmer out and some people may be out taking some more pics. So the new contest is for pets/animals! Contest will run until June 1st, so get to snappin, or post what ya get. Same rules, 3 pics per user I think it was, no editing allowed, or w/e the original rule was.

My girlfriend took this photo while I was driving. You can kind of see her in the mirror.

^That sort of looks like a white jindo on the back of that bike.

Anyway, since my dog doesn't live with me anymore (:() I will just subject you to my favorite pictures of her.

Why did you have to get rid of the pooch? New apartment rules? :(

No, since I moved out of the city and onto Long Island, I'm gone for way way longer during the day (before I was gone for about 9 hours a day at the most, now it's closer to 12) and she wasn't handling it well. So she lives with my dad now, and she adores him, and they go for lots of walks together and she goes to work with him, and when he goes out for a long time, he drops her off at my mom's, and my brother's around to take her for adventures in the woods. So basically, it works out really well for everyone in my family except for me. I'm still her favorite though, and I go down to PA to see her whenever I can.

Fae, what type of dog is that?

She's a Jindo. It's a Korean breed. Not so common on the East Coast, but there are a lot of them in Cali. Here's a picture where you can actually tell better what she looks like:

What kind of camera you use Fae?

I can't remember what I used to take most of those. Probably my old Sony Cybershot. I still think it takes a decent picture, even though it's only a 2.1 megapixel. Plus it had a flip out screen on the back that made taking self portraits a lot easier. Now, the boyfriend has an Olympus E 500 that I use for taking my more artsy pictures. I like it, but my favorite camera is still my dad's slr Minolta from approximately 1975. Alas, film is just not as convenient, and my enlarger is sitting useless in my boyriend's parent's garage.
