Yer Yer, if anyone in the Jersey area whos a good styled out rider, let me know, im down for shoots.

PS, does anyone know if bringin out a digi SLR in the cold would break the screen? what temperature can i go before that happens?

its not the cold that going to break the screen on a digital SLR but going from cold to warm to cold is whats going to break it just be really careful not to drop it. I am really into photography as well i just dont have my own equipment yet. i am going to after i get my new car if i get a new car.

I have a digi SLR and the temp won't break the screen unless it's like -1008032 degrees lol.

The screen may slow down and stop working in extreme cold, but will be OK when warmed up again.

The batteries will also give out less power when cold, and may need to be warmed up against your body to bring them back to life. Best solution is to use and external battery pack that is kept inside your clothing for warmth.

You would probably want to be careful of condensation when taking it from hot to cold and back.

there is some gear that will make it okay to bring a camera out in the cold

After you take a picture, turn the camera off to conserve battery powa.
