so i've only been to 3 resorts in the PA, MD, VA areas, liberty mountain and whitetail and i forget the other one, any others i should check out??

Go to Wisp. It's in MD and it beats the hell out of Liberty/Whitetail/Round Top. I lived in DC for five years, so I was stuck with those mountains too. Also there's some decent riding in West VA if you feel like making a bigger trip (like a weekend or something).

Check out Montage in Scranton Pa. It's got some sick double diamonds. Sometimes, they have a pretty good terrain park too(not this past season). While your so far up state, check out Elk mtn. also.

I almost forgot, check out Seven Springs and Blue Knob resort if your in the western part of Pa.

SNOWSHOE KICKS ASS GO THERE!!! I think the place you are talking about is Wintergreen. it sucks so don't ever go there.

Snowshoe is owned by Intrawest, same people who own Mt. Creek and Copper. Last year they had INSANE amounts of snow. A few Powder days rivaling that Colorado. In West Virginia no less.

my first night at snowshoe it snowed 14 inches! that was my first time riding real powder, it was great
