Yeah hey, i live in minneapolis. I ride at....afton and buck mostly. i get up to spirit some and Giants ridge is probably my favorite place in minnesota.
whats with lutsen not having a park??????

yeah minnesota a great place to live... unless u live an hour from the nearest hill, wich sux! oh well buck is my hill had a pass there and gonna ge one next winter i wish it snoedd in the summer too that would be sick. great place to live tho

grantie peak is pretty good for snowboarders there park is kept up good becase they hire boarder to work on the park. the only bad thing about grantie peak is that a lift ticket is almost $40 but i get a seanson pass.

hey everyone whats going on....i ride at wild seriously every weekday, and spirit most weekends, other than that we hit up every resort in mn/wi sometime during the season.....but you def need the trips out west!

anyone in here do comps....if so get in contact with me. Freshtip Design (company with some friends) throws the sickest ski, snowboard and wakeboard comps in the midwest....Midwest Massacre 1, 2, 3, The community project in Mpls, The pinewskis summer rail jam, Wake N Bake, The Liquid Force Slide show, Summer Shakedown. If you havent heard of these than you need to open up a snowboard, ski and wakeboard magazine sometime!!


We are premier THAT on October 9th (not sure where yet) and throwing a comp on October 14th at Sally Saloon and Eatery, were shutting down a city street.

We have the sickest riding team ever. Freshtip is supported by Erik and Bjorn Leines of Celtek Gloves, Oakley, Matt Sterbenz of 4FRNT SKIES, Mike Casanova

the community project which is a video with oakley and red bull we threw a comp at stub and herbs in mpls in the bars parking lot.

I am the Head snowboard instructor / Terrain park designer / owner of Sicksick6.net. I work at www.skisnowstar.com (http://www.skisnowstar.com/) Those magazines I was referring to are major industry mags. Not something that is produced for public sales and viewing, they deal with the direction of the sport and operations of resorts in general... along with cool events that are going on in each region. This is why I didn’t hear of it. I don’t use my Transworld snowboarding and magazines like that for anything but throwing in the ski school room for my instructors to read when they are bored.

But we definitely need to talk =)

most places should be somewhat decent by this weekend with this cold air that we now have. They can finnally make some snow. Its about time I dont think I could handle anothe 50+ degree day. Still wont be great but at least it will be rideable.

Wild Was really close to being fully open and then it down poured yesterday and all the snow got washed away. but tonight they are making snow up the yang and i even got to ride some powder (which is a miracle for wild mountain).

I live in Winona, and apparently this last storm hit us the hardest. Almost 30" of snow and only half that at the local ski resort. Welch Village though had about a foot and it was something else riding that much snow in this state. Great way to just about end my second year.
