WTB: longboard skateboard

check out Sector9. they have been in the business for awhiel and make someof the best ones out there. LibTechnologies also makes skateboard decks too, and they got a long board deck that shoudl last awhiel and it loosk killer

yes, they are really lame! if you can't ollie it, then it's not a real skateboard. how fun can just riding a skateboard be. and what do you do when you get to a curb or something? do you pick it up and then place it down on the sidewalk? when with a "real" skateboard you could ollie and keep riding. i feel only posers ride longboards. i can bomb the same hills on a real skateboard, and do 360 flips with it on the way down.

I don't longboard, but if someone really wants to, I guess they can... I occasionally skateboard just to get around, but I don't do tricks, so I guess I'm probably just as bad as them.
PS - I bet you really hate rollerbladers.

I guess, I'm not really a skater, I just ride one around sometimes cuz it's faster than walking, and you can carry it inside.

riding a board for transportation is cool, but i still hate longboards. besides if people ride their boards to school, a longboard doesn't fit very well in a locker

I ride for transportation, and need to be able to ollie up gutters.

Picking up your board to get up a gutter is so soft!


i feel only posers ride longboards.

I'm so with Santa on that thought! I see people that buy them just to ride around the city posing, not for bombing hills, purely for posing.

first off to the crack ass who cant read, I dont want a longboard, and i have a shortboard and do use it... my gf wants a longboard...

and thanks for thread jacking... im lookin for a used longboard for my gf, not anyones opinion... i woulda put this thread in general discussion if i cared what you thought....

and ps satan... obviously uve never riden longboards a chance... u can ollie them.... ive hit rails on em... hell... i can do backside flips on em w/o a problem

I think either way it shows up in the "new posts," so people read it... probably better that they make fun of longboards though, at least that keeps your post current so someone might read it who has one they want to get rid of...

I'd like to see someone ollie a longboard, which generally don't have tails...how do you ollie a longboard, if there is no tail to kick down on, and if the rear trucks/wheels are right at the back of the board?
