View Full Version : more about me and moving to colorado
kelly knows of my vast efforts but i am having the hardest time finding a place to live. everywhere i find is too far from the mtn or a big town (to find job in). and anywhere in between i have been told are "funky towns", and i guess thats not what want.
i can move as soon two months, and after carefull review have decided to get passes to copper/wp and a-basin. i cant be too far away from the big cities because i will needing to find a job soon hopefully related to CIS.
right now if i dont find anything better i will probably choose someplace in golden because it looks like the closer side of the dever area to the mtns. but when i maps.google it, it give me a drive time of about 1 and 21 minute drive to the mtn. that really sucks. if i can cut that in half i would be in bussiness. if anyone knows of anywhere that might work out for me, please let me know.

Well, if you think you're getitng a job somewhere in the denver area, just suck it up and live somewhere in the denver area, otherwise, you'll have a hellish commute every day to work. The other option is to live someplace cool in the mountains, get a ****ty job, and wait for a job in your field to become available.

There are CIS jobs in the mountains too - you could always try CMC, they have lots of campuses, they must be hiring some kinda nerds...http://www.coloradomtn.edu/

he might not have to. just let me know if you want a job in a shop or something. i have about a million friends i could call. you wouldn't make much money but you could snowboard atleast 6 days a week.

as long as it doesnt totally suck and its pays enough to buy me time to figure things out more solid
