Limewire Pro does make a difference too, it searches from more users, as well as downloads from more users making your downloads much faster, especially on more popular downloads.

Soulseek and BitTorrent for me. I download insane amounts of music, too. It's kind of embarrassing... in the past 6 months or so I have downloaded between 20 and 25 GB. Someone help me!
Although I do enjoy buying merchandise of bands I like and going to their concerts... so I'm not completely evil... right?

I just started using Soulseek again (I used it a while ago but stopped) and before that was Limewire. I hate downloading, but when I can't find **** in stores, or my friends don't have it in their get files, or when a band isn't touring anytime soon, I have to resort to the Slsk.

If it's a band I've never heard, I usually go and download a few songs from Limewire to see if I like them, then I just go a buy the music from iTunes. Assuming they actually have it, that is. Downloading music is too much of a hassle because my computer has issues, so it's usually easier for me to buy cds instead.

Yeah, I think I've said this before, but when I was in college, pirating music didn't bother me because I was pretty broke, and I would have never found out about a lot of the bands I liked otherwise. And I tried to go to their shows when they were in town. But now that I'm supposed to be a grown up and that I have a real job and stuff, it seems kind of silly to not buy the stuff I like. I don't have to choose between eating and a cd anymore, so it's not as big of a deal.
