i don't know about torrent stuff. it takes three hours to upload, i'll re-up it if anyone ever wants it again. i just upped it for a friend and didn't want the link to go to waste over one download.

works for me, but hey way off subject but im lookin to work abroad this summer in new zealand and Corenet Peak is currently what im lookin at, ever been there or any suggestions on any NZ resorts from a snowboarders point of u. i kno u auzzies love to vacation anywhere but the motherland so im kinda assuming u've been to NZ

Have not been to Coronet Peak myself, or Remarkables, which are both down near Queenstown. Queenstown is the NZ snow party town though, if you're into that.
I have been to other NZ resorts. I would be looking at Treble Cone for freeriding, and maybe Snow Park for freestyle, but that's just a small hill that is a terrain park, or Cardrona. These three are around Lake Wanaka, which is a little further north than Queenstown.
You wouldn't be living on the mountain though, so you can visit any of these other mountains on days off.

to use bit torrent, first u need to download a bit torrent client. i have been using Azureus recently, but there others too like blite. whatever u perfer. then go to a bit torrent site like www.torrentspy.com, there are hundreds of these sites. type in "snowboard" for a search and pick the one u want. save the torrent file onto ur computer, then open it up inside the bit torrent client and the download will begin.
to create a torrent file in Azureus look around in the menu there is an option to recreate torrent and upload them.

You can afford to snowboard, you're not broke, put some money towards supporting people that provide us with this entertainment, instead of just stealing it.
You know Simon, I've gotta say, sometimes people like to be able to check things about before they drop money on it. I'm perfectly down with paying for stuff I like, but if I spend $30 on a dvd and hate it, I'm going to be pretty pissed off. Not all downloading is evil or lame.

I'd like to know how many people that download videos from links/discussions like these here actually go out and buy them afterwards?
I go into the shop and get them to put on the ones I'm interested in, if I like them, I buy them.
The difference is that I do not have any videos in my possession that I have not paid for. I can not go home and watch something that is stolen.
I think that most of the people on here that want to download these vids will not go out and buy them later, since they feel they already have the video, and therefore there is no point in them 'wasting' their money on buying the dvd.
I'm sure there would be a lot more people getting enjoyment from these stolen vids, than those that actually feel they should buy the dvd since they enjoyed the downloaded vid as much as they did.
Maybe you would do that, I'm sure most wouldn't.
Do you justify shoplifting by saying that you're just taking it to try it out, and if you like it you'll come back and pay for it?
I just think that you've made your point numerous times in this threads and others. You're not going to change peoples' minds by telling them they're lame in 36 point multi-colored comic sans.

At least it provoked a reaction, and now I know what fonts piss people off.
It's not like there is a huge selection of fonts to choose from anyway.
It's my field of study. Sorry. Do research on typography for four years and write a thesis paper on it, and you'd probably understand my aversion to things like comic sans.
Using Impact worked better for telling people they're lame.
P.S. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I just worry that you're going to burst a blood vessel every time I see you post this stuff. I have these images of a snowboarder becoming so irate that he puts his fist through his computer then jumps off a building.

I'm at work in Canberra, I'm sure they will not mind me taking the next 2 days off so I can drive 800kms, skate the Melbourne Centre, and drive 800kms home.

if this helsp ptu your mind to ease simon, i do end up buying the videos after dl'ing them for one or two views. 3/4s of the time i have a friend who has it, i borrow his copy, wacth it a few times, and then i'll decide to make a purchase. i liek to test/see/handle things before i make a decision. i might be a cheap **** at times (and i don't mean i'm a $2.50 male prostitute), but if i liek somethign enouhg, i save up and buy it.

I'd like to see how Kellen felt if he spent all year making a stockpile of beanies to sell, with the profit being his income, then we stole them and gave them away for free on SBA...everyone would have one of his beanies, he wouldn't have received any money from them, and no one else would want one, cause they already have them for free.

More likely that you guys will get busted for piracy by the FBI, locked up, befriended by bubba, etc., SBA will get shut down for promoting piracy, you'll ruin it for yourselves and everyone else here just cause you are greedy, selfish, theives!

reminds me of a funny story...
my dad always called my mom Bubba as a joke because once they started living togtehr, he called her hsi cell mate. so my grandma, form my mosm side of all all people, made my dad a t-shirt with thsoe felt bubble letters back form liekt he late 70's/early 80's, and it says "bubba's man" across the chest. i stole thsi one along wiht his gofl shirt that says "the *******."
