My buddy or should I say my old buddy just gave me the news that the place we were suppose to stay at is no longer available. Im really bummed about this. So, I'm looking all over for a new place to stay. Do you guys/gals have any ideas? I was hoping to be near Winter Park and Copper Mountain. Thanks in advance!!
look in fraser, there a lot of cheaper rentals

Are you linking to lodge for a wekk or are you looking to sign a lease? My friend Jay and I are living in fraser (1 mile from WinterPark) this season and our complex still has availible rooms. e. I think is also working on living in the same complex. There is also another girl on here whos parents live in Fraser as well.
Fraser is where you will find all of the affordible housing for Winter Park, and is where most people prefer to live. The actual Town of Winter Park is mostly expensive condos and houses. PM me if you have any questions, I could possibly turn you onto a few good places in Winter Park to stay if you are just looking to lodge for a week or so.

I'm flying into Denver on Feb 17th and leaving Feb 24th. So, if you can pm me some places to stay in Fraser I would really appreciate it!
if u are only going to be there for a week u might just want to stay on the mtn for whole "resort" feel

There are some condo complexs in the town Of WP that rent out for that long, Hide Away village was where we stayed, it was pretty cheap and the places were prety nice. Check WinterParks web page, there are always deals posted up around this time of the year.

yeah about 2 hours or so. depends on I70 traffic and Berthod Pass conditions
on the map it looks like it would only be like 1.5 hrs. but i dont really know

yeah but you don't see Berthod Pass. it's a gnarly pass that gets you out of WP to I70. it there's snow or someone slow infront of you it takes awhile. sometimes it gets closed due to weather. they put chain restrictions on it too, every so often.

Yeah, plus the speed limit over berthoud pass is slow the whole way - it takes a good amount of time to get over it. Sometimes it'd probably even be faster to go through kremmling.

Only on the south side, I think (or at least that's the only side there was construction on last summer and last winter)... I don't think it'll significantly shorten the drive... although hopefully it'll at least give you some opportunities to pass RV's.

I found a 2 bedroom / 2 bath units has a queen in the master bedroom, 2 twins in the second bedroom and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. The price is only $750 for the week. Im really excited! I'll be out there Feb 17-24. We should have a snowboardaddicts get together that week..LOL I hear Kelly is buying drinks!!! :twisted:
