So I just got back from Atlantic City.... The Killers played the super-fancy Borgata Casino. Here's a recap:

1. The Borgata is sweet. Expensive but sweet. I felt like I was in Vegas. And I wish someone could explain to me why the 18 oz. beer was $4.00 and the Crab Cake Sandwhich was $13.50??? Usually it's the alcohol that's expensive.
2. The Venue felt more like a recepetion hall for an ultra-swanky wedding. Carpeted floors and chandeliers do not make a Killers show
3. The crowd absolutely sucked. No offense to anyone on this site from Jersey... but the fashion sense of teenagers, middle-aged people (mostly women) and everyone in between sucked. What's with chubby girls exposing their bulges? They do make a size called LARGE.
4. The opening act made me want to slit my wrists and pour alcohol in my bleeding wounds after I gouged my eyeballs out with barbed wire. British Sea Power was the absolute worst live act I have ever seen. I can't say any more.
5. The Killers have no material other than the album Hot Fuss released well over a year ago. I enjoyed the show, all 1 hour and 15 minutes it.
6. I was the driver for 4 people. I paid for Gas and tolls and they had the audacity to fall asleep on the way home. Bastards.

Needless to say I'm disappointed.

My theory...they want to look like Britney, so they dress like Britney, they just don't have a body like Britney.

Try calling them on it though, they'll try to turn it back on you, asking why you're looking, and that it's none of your business what they look like anyway.

Put it away, or lose it...you fat pigs!

Ouch!

Damn, not I'm not feeling as bad about my evening - at least I had a good time for 5 hours before my friend got overly drunk.

I had to go find her car, so I had to drag her to school and leave her there, and then skateboard around the school parking lots looking for her car, and then when I got back, she had vanished so I had to run around all of the studios looking for her (she had drunkedly decided to go search for a guy she's dating, since I took her cell phone away after she started randomly calling people in her contacts lists) .... and then I had to get her to a toilet, so she could puke a bit... and drag her to her car where she puked more in a plastic bag, and drag her home so she could puke in her own toilet.... Oh yeah, and walk and feed her dog. Fun!
and I'm a sympathetic puker, so this was an issue for me....
But at least I only had one bad hour - the rest was fun, we went to this club that was empty, but had a fun dance floor, and 80's music, so we were dancing like total dorks. :)

Ok, done bitching, I'm just bored because I'm waiting around a bit because I promised her I'd check on her to make sure she wasn't dead.

yez I like what that one dude has in his signature it think its like CAFGES or something like that, Coalition Again Fat Girls Exposing Stomach, I always thought that was kinda funny. Isn't the killers have to one song like Mr. Brightside? did they play it i like that sound.

My Night......
Chillin at the usual hang out spot bout and tuned up my Amp the make my subs clearer and bass alot harder...... The amp wasn't even turn up like half way its a 1400 watt amp to 2 Diamond 10's wit the aluminum cones, hold 1000 watts apeice so we had a little fun knowing that there was no way possible to blow those subs with that amp.

Then round, 8 I decided to race this integra gsr, that had a cold air intake lightened flywheel and a racing clutch 1.8 L , I have a bone-stock Camry V6 le 98 3.0, with extra weight from subs, So we get on the highway and i pull right with him from bout 35 to 60 and then he edges past me about a half a car length up to 80, So then we get out on the street off the highway where the speed limit is 45, and we turn onto the street going about 15 and I fking gave my car all it had and pulled on him by like a half a car length up to 70, so it was a pretty even race I was suprised, plus I have an automatic and his is a five speed, so i've known the kid for a while and he just got his liscence like a month ago. I def. underestimaed him it was actually a really close race.

About 11:30 I'm bout to take one of my friends home and decide to race my buddy buddah, who has a mustang v6 3.8L, so we pull out onto the road, which is like 35 mph speed limit, going about 15 and he honks it off, so Ipunch the gas and leave him a lil behind when i let off the gas at about 60, so he flies past me after that, so we both slow down again, and he was like lets just stop, which there was like nodody on the road, and i was like no lets just slow down to like 10, so I honk it off and we both floor it I left him a lil bit a first, but he caught up at about 45 then I started to pull away a lil bit bit up to 60 then he caught up right next to me and I let off the gas at 70, so then we both start to slow way down and we get a break and catch a stop light, so we could get it from the line, Well he just barely chirps it a lil, and all get all skirrrrt nasty off the line and didn't catch traction until I got up to like 20, by this times hes bout 2 car lengths ahead of me, and I mash that ****, and by the time we where up to 60 I was at his back bumper, So he def. got me off the lines, but, at a rolling start I had him by a lil bit but, it was a really good race 2.

Kelly.... You obviously had the suckier end to your evening... Mine was a long drawn out kind of suck. It's a shame because I truly enjoy the entire Killers CD. All but once song. But live it was good. I should have seen them a year ago was I was really into them. I went because I had always wanted to.

Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, and Natalie were the highlights for me.

I hate that... here, there is widespread Lululemon/TNA. Ugh. Terrible.

Hehee, I happen to like BSP; haven't seen them live though.

That sucks that your evening was so bad... The Killers are so good, too. I managed to see 'em in April when they were touring with Tegan and Sara.

The funny thing is.... I went back and listened to BSP studio tracks... not bad. But live, awful. I swear they were too drunk to see, let alone play!

Well chica, your first mistake was going to see the Killers. Second, I've never seen a show in AC where the opening act was decent. Third, Borgata = good poker, not good show atmosphere unless you're seeing Tony Bennett. And lastly, your friends obviously suck.

I met the band over here in sacramento through my moms job before i even heard their music. It was a promotion of Hot Fuss. After i got their autographs i tried talking to them and every one of them were eating pizza and acted like they've never eatin' before. They all had no problem w/ talking to my sister though...bastards j/k. They're music isnt that good anywayz, the bass player is like 7 feet tall, pretty nuts.
