trip tips please?

hey everyone. i was just wondering next year i am moving to BC canada and wondering where the best place to move would be i was anitialy thinking either whistler fernie or banff and if anyone has any sugestions please reply thanks.

I have been to both and both are beautiful. I liked Banff because of the town, kind of laid back and there is deer and moose running around town. They have two ski resorts there but on the other hand you can't go wrong living in Whistler. I wish I had your decision to make!!!

yeah im leaning towards whistler at the moment i dunno yet though :S

That's a big move from Australia to Canada. Why the move if you don't mind me asking.

coz im over australia and i wana get out and see the world and board other countries... and i guess i got a traveling bone in my body... the terrain look amazing from what ive seen. we dont get the best snow over here either and im planning to pretty mtuch rvolve a good part of my life around boarding. if theres anywhere else that you could sugest to me that would be good

All the snowboarding pros live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I can't stand the town but love the snow!!!

yeah that would be alright park city isnt far away is it? around there is definetly on my to do list.

yeah park city, snowbird, dear valley, the cannons, alta, solitude, Brighton are all 15 min away from Salt Lake. Then you have snowbasin, powder mountain, and beaver, brain head, about 1 hr away. So you can ride a lot of different places.

I have only been to Whistler and it's awesome as far as the mountain goes. Also there are tons of Ozzies up there....enough that they have an annual Ozzie week. Good luck!
