Ok... I have an idea. Whoever's home mountain (i.e. Mt. Creek, Elk) opens first... we meet and go. Who wants to ride alone the first time out? Not me. So, you come to PA, or I'll come to NY/NJ.

Fae, if you can get to G, I bet he'd drive ya!

Oh... and anyone else who wants to come too!

Sounds like fun to me...you guys can laugh at me as I eat it while trying to remember how to ride. I'm totally cool w/ hitting up either the Creek or somewhere in PA, as long as G can give me a lift (and no, I won't make you drive into the city to get me, Gerard!).

Guess it opens when it gets cold enough to make snow, right? So at this rate...never, since it's supposed to go up to almost 80 again today.

Autumn? What's Autumn?

Maybe you need to start looking up some pagan weather changing rituals....

My brother and I used to do snow dances when we were kids so we could have off from school...maybe I should just start doing those again.

My brother and I did too! Never really worked though, I think maybe the gods frowned upon it.

I just bought my off peak pass for Spring last night... not sure of the opening day yet though.

For those of you not familiar with this area... it's just a litlle local hill.... but not terible. And always better than nothing.

Wow, I never knew there was a mountain that close to KOP....

SnoChica

It's usually icy.... but like I said, better than nothing. Although, I really shouldn't even say a word about it. I honestly haven't been there since I was a kid. They could have jazzed the place up a bit over the years.

Ha! No, it was pretty cheap to buy in this area. But being so close to a mountain did factor into the final decision. That and the basement was already set up for a bar and beer cellar

I can't believe I've never heard of that mountain...it's ridiculously close to us.

I say "us" like I still live in PA. I'm silly.

Yeah, is this a newer mountain? I mean, ****, my parents used to live in Media on 252 - it looks like all I had to do was keep going north...

Nope... not new at all. I skied there a few times when I was 13/14 years old... And you all know how old I am now. LOL

I'm down if this happens. Nobody sit next to me on the lift though, 4 years and I can only skate off the lift 50% of the time. I think I have an inner ear problem. Or I'm and idiot. Who knows.

Well as of now i think i'm going to creek every day (that i go snowboarding) this year... so if we meet up unfortunately i won't make it if it isn't there. If it is i know of a few people who might b able to go. Ha then you'll be swarmed with 15 yr olds =P

Once it gets closer to the season and the opening day is nailed down we will post up and get a bunch of ppl together maybe we can even get a lift ticket discount, now that would be cool hehe.

Especially if it's Creek we end up going to... cause I'm broke after my season pass purchases.

That's a good idea, G. Do you know how many people we would need? I'm sure I have some friends who aren't on SBA that would love to come along.
