80 % of Pebble Creek is black or double back diamond. So that is what I ride. They say if you can ski/snowboard there you can ski anywhere!!

i'm all about the fresh tracks if i'm in canada or vermont but if it's PA/NJ mountains it's park all day until i get bored then i'll do 1 or 2 cool down runs and i'm back hiking a rail.

I like the grocery conveyor belt ride. Man thats the coolest ride there, but then you have to go down this slippery white stuff, and its like all over the place. Whats up with that?

OK really, its mainly the Park, all the jumps and the intermediate rails. If that gets too crowded, I'll hit some blacks, blues, or even try some mogul runs, just to piss off the skiers.

I like hitting up the blacks or the blues and hitting the jumps here and there. I am too impatient to wait in the park  I just wanna ride.

I ride anything where there aren’t people. So I do a lot of backcountry riding.

I usually ride the blacks and the park, but I'd have to say dodging trees in the glades is my all time favorite. I'd be on em all day if my park had em.

Levi

yeah man i love the glades

Definately Diamonds at places like the Canyons or Vail. East Coast diamonds are just steep hills for like 100 ft. and thats pretty much it, then its some flat terrain that is really boring to ride

Who says "green circles" or "blue squares?"
You didn't include an option for the trees between the runs, or any other various poaching options...

snowboardnguy90
09-02-2005, 05:15 AM
well technically they are "green circles" and "blue squares"

i wouldn't risk tree riding or stuff, cuz mntn creek is anal and would kick u out/take ur pass like that.

kelly

Yeah, but I mean, who says "green circles?" I don't even say "black diamonds."

A lot of the resorts around here have opened up a lot of their glades for tree riding, because it seems to be increasingly popular (due to the super-funness). Some have always been open - they don't rope off the trees usually, unless they are out of bounds. I don't normally poach either, except in certain powder-related circumstances.

tree riding's pretty fun, i've risked it a few times.

As long as the snow's soft, it's the best thing ever... that's why I rarely go to the park, can't drag myself outta the trees.

This thread is old.

I hit it all tho. Some greens can be just as fun as a black - n I can be such a park rat at times too. I'd vote if there was an 'all of the above' option.

What ever is in front of me but the blues are just fun.

i ride at a small ****ty east coast mountain which means only ones thing. TERRAIN PARK. Thats the only thing to do. We never have powder and most trails are ice so pretty much everybody shreds the park.

This thread is so old... I probably answered it with Blues... I'd like to upgrade my answer please...

Actually, sometimes the answer is, "whatever run I might accidentally come upon"

Like in Hunter when I found myself at the top of Racer's Edge (double black, icy, thin cover, raining, fog) That was "fun"...

gerard
01-08-2006, 04:04 PM
yeah racers edge is fun and nice. the only thing is its so steep that all the powder usually gets brushed away...

Im a park rat, but the mountain I go to normally doesnt have a great park. (they dont have one, but we built our own on a trail they dont use anymore) so if im not riding that, im hitting the blacks bombing down them jumping everything.

Levi and I grew up as next door neibaurs riding the same Rock. It's great growing up at the bottom of a steep mountain.
