i come into work this morning and check my emails. its seems that i have some technicians stuck in a snow storm on I-70 in colorado. we had to call colorado state highway patrol to go and pick them up.
anyway i am just angry and jealous now that you guys have a snowstorm in freaking beginning of october. you all suck, and i cant wait to move out there. aaaaaaaa ohio sucks balls.

yeah the season is supposed to start the second week in november for VT but its still nothing like out west. Boy if I was in CO hehe.

When they were showing your snowstorm on the news and all moving toward the east I got excited, then I realized we're just getting rain cause it's only October. So thanks. You go ride on your snow cause thanks to your stupid snowstorm I can't even skate when it rains here.
Are you guys moiving to WP together??
not together but somewhat at the same time to the same place. the same mtn and the same apartment complex. wow, small world

It depends on how much snow loveland and a-basin get - those resorts don't have that whole set opening date thing going with the forest service, so I think they can open whenever they're ready (assuming they have the staff) ... when I was a kid a-basin opened once in mid-summer for 3 weeks after a huge freak snowstorm.

I don't know which roads are closed... maybe I-70 at Vail pass? That closes a lot in storms, because of the altitude.

For you, there's one in hayden... it's in the opposite direction of winter park though - west on 40 towards Craig.
Voice - depending on where you're going to, you can check the local flights (usually puddle jumpers from Denver), but during ski season, they can get pretty pricey... they go to a lot of the ski towns tho - there's one in Eagle county (vail), aspen, telluride, etc...

Well once I'm on the ground I have a ride to where ever I need to be, I'll be out there on business so I'll have a rental.......hopefully, work is kind of pissed at me right now!!
I told them that I wanted a rental that was equal to what I normally drive...so there kind of having a fit trying to find a rental Audi!!!!
But Denver is definetly the right Airport???

Well, if your company is paying for the ticket, you could get one to one of the mountain airports... Denver's where you go if you want a cheaper flight...
Well, and it's probably the best bet for Summit County.

Yeah, some places in the southwest already have 6 ft at the begining of october, plus eisenhower tunnel already had 8-10 inches at 4 yesterday, I have my pass and am ready to start riding, vail opens november 17th!
