So from what I understand Bush's approval ratings are now at their lowest. They were actually never that high to begin with though. But what I think is funny he is not even doing anything to help him out. He's still appointing more idiots. I really think this is a huge disaster and it's all because people voted based on religion.
Yeah, my mom voted for Bush because of religion. I asked her recently how she feels about that decision and she told me to shut up.

yeah I was also thinking about it too. Still kind of thinking about it. I mean it is just so annoying when ppl are so ignorant. Not that I am any kind of genious but come on now. Not only did they vote for a dumb president once, but they did it again? Are you kidding me? I know our country was founded on the idea that everyone should be able to vote. But I really think there should be an IQ test that you have to take first.

Arnie can't be president since he wasn't born in the US or on a US military base (then again in the movie Demolition Man they changed the laws so he could be president).
As a well-versed atheist, the religion arguement holds no weight with me. After all I thought we voted for presidents because of their policies, not their heritage. Does anyone actually believe if Jesus were around today he'd vote for Bush? Hell no. He'd be a left-wing hippie in Nader's camp.

Regan was one of our worst presidents in recent history. He single handedly destroyed unions and the prolongation of the Iran Contra was his fault as well. When he kicked the bucket I threw a little party and deflowered a virgin in his honor.

Yeah, my mom was a Democrat before she married a crazy born-again Christian. Now she's republican, which makes absolutely no sense, since she only thing she agrees with them on is stuff like conservative social issues. She even said that economically, Kerry was a better choice, but she couldn't vote for him because of his views on religion. GAH! I swear my mom is an intelligent woman, but I really wanted to go to Arizona to smack some sense into her after she said that.

Just to catch up here: Regan was an actor, horrible president, Carter was actually great, despite public opinion. If the first thing Regan did when he came into office wasn't to disband Carter's alternative energy research groups we might be doing ok. Carter's a pretty smart guy.

The one thing that strikes me when I see a film showing any previous president speaking, whether it's Carter or Nixon or Clinton or Reagan, is how much smarter they all seem compared to Bush.

I think what we`re dealing with here is an insane leader whos mind is decaying at a frightening rate......listen to him giggle when talking about 30,000 dead Iraqi civilians....though we all pretty much know the number has got to be even higher.....his speech is getting even more rambling and babbling than normal for even him. Pretty damn frightening to see this certifiable lunatic at the controls of such an obscene nuclear arsenal! He is good at one thing though....stealing elections!!! But what can we do? Impeaching him really won`t change anything since Cheney ( aka Darth Vader ) is the one running the show anyway! If there was any justice in the world, he and his whole cabinet would share the same jail cell with Slobadan Milosevic in the Haig for their crimes against humanity......have I mentioned lately how much I HATE these people?

Bush knows he's ruining the country and just uses stupidity as an excuse for him to execute his agenda. He's actually quite bright, albeit in a completely biased, ultra-conservative sort of way. The act just makes him seem like a more personable guy to the people who voted for him.
