I am defiantly getting satellite radio. Because I am a Stern fan, and I have a few thousand shares of Sirius, I am going with Sirius.
I still would like users of both services to tell us your experiences with satellite radio.

I haven't listened to the radio in years, and I'm pretty sure it still sucks (even in satellite form). :)

first off dont get me started with shares of sirius!!!!!!!!! other then that though I used to have sirius and now I have XM and for the music that I like sirius is better. I switched channels far less on sirius. Although when XM has good times they are really good. So its a toss up but I have XM now only cause thats what came with the car. damnt!

nah the normal radio blows satellite radio is amazing in comparison. forget just the quaility but not dealing with the length of commericals and multiple stations that you like. much much better. But I do want to find a way to hook my ipod into my car.

You are NOT actually complaining about the incredibly cool media set up in your car, right? Because if so, I'm going to kick you.

I think it's pretty easy to hook your ipod in... I have a few friends who have that.
i just use the tape deck for my ipod. the analog quality sucks, but i had the itrip and it sucked. it was the most annoying thing ever. NEVER BUY AN ITRIP

My brother has the Itrip and said it works well for him, except on a long distance trip where new radio stations appear...

i couldnt even get across town with it. always having to change stations and the music never came in clear. i could always here a hissing sound or the radio stations music in the background.

Well.... no clue about the itrip i just think ipod's are way overrated and cost too much... but on the radio thing... i usually just listen to Cd's or well the rock station 93x... but i'd have to say sirius is way better with my experience... its got better stations to me and well uh theres only one station on xm that i like and u have to be on the radio for that one.

yeah you could get it done at a stereo place for like 50 bucks. how the hell do think that iPods are over rated? it's the best thing to happen to personal music collections.
but i like Serius way better because what else.. Howard Stern and his crazy wack pack.

I like me the IPOD cuz I can't find the music I want on any radio station (and I checked Serius's website, cuz I was curious).
My iPod keeps me sane on the subway. It's so much nicer than having to carry around a discman and then a wallet of cds.

Yeah same thing for me on the bus... and it's important to be able to block out the public transit crazies.....

Yeah, that's what I thought!!!
You thought the ipod had a better design? Then you were right!

Well, I will agree to disagree, you like the "squareness" of the iPod (whereas that's what I hate) and I like the Rio's sleek style (which obviosly you don't care for).
Actually, I think the iPod has a much more sleek style than the Rio. I'd have to call the Rio "bubbly" more than anything else. We're off topic again.

The rio is just as thin and its the size of a half dollar, where the iPod is the size of a 3/4 dollar bill!

yeah I think the differences between sirius and XM are preference so just check out the stations first I think you can listen to both online first
