Do you have to have a sponsor to enter any of those events?

Nope. PB&J is open so everyone can enter (and I think it's free too, just lift tix cost).

USASA events are open to members. Membership is around $50, and each event costs about $20 (at least that's what it cost for south tahoe)

I guess it helps when I've been doing those same comps for a few years now... keep me posted if there are any pipe or slopestyles coming up (that's not USASA)

For sure I will keep everyone posted, I think I'm the only one that let's people know what's going on at Bear.....so you can count on it.

As for SnoChick.....how long have you been coming to Bear to do the USASA Comps?

I've been doing the USASA at Tahoe for 3 years, but I thought I'd venture out this year and check out some of my other competition. It gets a little old when you compete against the same people every year and every event!

I don't really like comps, but being a new guy in a new town from the other side of the country, it seems like that is the only way to get my name out there, or meet the right people. Ya know?

What? you know me! I am the right people!
Ok, not really... I guess comps are a pretty good option for you, unless you have a fake ID... so you can meet the right people in bars...
