so i was wondering what kind of music everyone was into, whether during riding or just in general. plus, i feel like doing some promoting X-D. this site is really crafty in keeping me from posting a link until ive made 15 posts, so im just gonna try really hard.

this is really making me mad, i try and post things and the stupid "you can only post links after 15 posts" comes up and I didnt even try and post a link.

Anyway, thanks, I'm gonna look into that. =)
Im also a big Soul Coughing fan, dont know if youve heard of them, theyve been broken up for a while. THeir lead singer, Mike Doughty, did some solo stuff and is touring with DMB this winter.

I like a lot of weird stuf, too, I'm a huge Frank Zappa fan and like stuff like Handsome |Boy Modeling School (who you mighta heard of if you play Tony Hawk Proskater on Ps2 ha) and Violent Femmes, Cake, Primus, some Buckethead...sooo much stuff.

i don't listen to the radio. MTV and Radio = molestation of good music

oldies are always goldies, but even better when played by the Misfits! (Project 1950, booyah!)

Yuck, you people need to get over the misfits. ;)

I'm with you on the listening to the radio thing though.... except the part where you said "good music."

come on! 1950 was soem good ****! my grandma even liek that album!

and yeah, radio and good music used in the same sentance creates the biggest oxymoron ever. now if it was radio and half-assed, bull**** music used in the same snetance, then they support eachother. only time i listen to the radio is for the Drew and Mike show on WRIF as my alarm in the mornig, because thsoe two are absolutly hialriouse, and they bring up some damn good poitns when discusing ****, like how Kwame Kilpatrick (detroit's current mayor) is the most corrupt son-of-a-bitch in the city.

if anybody wanst the low down on his "escalade" story i'll be happy to tell. actually, **** it, i'll tell ti now: he used the city's tax dollars to buy himself an Escalade, and after he was caught denied it was his. that's the tip of the ice berg on his ****.

Has anyone heard of the Pillows? They're a Japanese band that kind of sound like the Pixies. I heard them while watching FLCL on Adult Swim.

Not my all time favorite stuff but it's something most people have never heard so it's kinda neat for that alone.

Was that your worst concert experience?
For me it was when I went to see Melt Banana in Norfolk, VA... The fire marshal came in and shut the place down right as they were going on stage. They said it was because the club was over capacity but there couldn't have been more than 75 people in the whole place. The club could have easily held 200 heads.
What a pisser!

Yes, it was. The people at that show were anime nerds of the worst kind (all wearing FLCL shirts of course) and you could tell they had never been to a show ever before. They had absolutely no show etiquette, and one nerd actually pushed me down and then shoved his elbow into my throat so I couldn't breath, all in the name of creeping two inches closer to the stage. I ended up punching him in the face.
