So is anyone interested in heading up there for the weekend? I am probably gonna go but we can all meet at the mountain or something.

Sorry, a little too early in the season for me. I'd like to head up to Hunter sometime in Jan or Feb though.

I think we need to do the FOLLOWING weekend. I don't want to be there opening day. Besides, the timing in better. I have tickets to the Warren Miller Ski/Snowboard movie on the 12th!

Just remember that when Killington says they have 16 trails open they really only have one or two actual runs open.
man i really want to but that is like a 9 hr drive from ohio. if you can get ben to drive i will come.

But Hell I like road trips. You never know but I can not go in early feb, I am sponsering a contest at Mad River that weekend. (girls Only)
And I was planning on heading to Holliday Valley some time. A Bunch of us from Toledo and here go there.

i'll have to give this one some thought to figure out if i can pull it off...i have a final on the 18th here at school (in Rochester). All my boarding stuff is at home (Northeastern PA). I can go home that day, but I wouldnt be able to make it up until at least halfway through the 19th...I don't know if it would be worth it. I wish I brought my stuff to school with me!!!

ok I need to get a prelim idea of who is coming, you will need to give me money for a deposit. And there will be rules for the trip though.... No drugs, most places are non smoking so if you want to smoke ciggaretts it will have to be outside, and you have to at least be 18, sorry youngins I dont want to get in trouble :) So, with that said.... who is coming?

OK... more details. Depending on the final number, it will probably be around $125 per person. Includes 2 nights lodging less than 1 mile from the mountain. 2 days lift tickets.
I will need money from those coming by 11/8 because all money is due at time of reservation.
So.... If you are going, I MUST receive an e-mail from you at sno.chica@comcast.net by 11/3/05. At that time, I will get a final cost depending on number of people and let you know immediately. Then, you can run and put a check in the mail that I will need to have by 11/8.
I will give you the address via e-mail.

I could think of nothing else last night while TRYING to fall asleep. I ended up have some amazing snowboarding dreams. Of course, that was fater the dream where my boot lace broke, and my board wasn't a board it was skis! But it was snowy, and powdery, and cold cold cold! :)

Yeah, I mean Nov. 18th. I'll be driving up with 3 others. No reservations yet, but hopefully I'll get a place on Killington road. The Sherburne-Killington motel is where I usually stay. The prices aren't bad and its on RT4 right near killington road. See you there?

I was up at killington the weekend it opened up and it was kind of awful... Barespots everywhere. But it was still riding so I didn't care plus with seasons passes getting in only 10 runs wasn't a big problem.

I can't breathe when I think about it... soooo excited. I've been checking the weather every day, maybe 3x a day. Sometimes, it's a good thing, sometimes I want to cry. At the VERY LEAST... we'll have made some new friends after the trip!

My friends dad runs a business and one of his workers owns a house at the base of startton and lets them stay up there. So this year ill be up at stratton sometimes.

Man, Killington was great! Except for the crowded trails and the power outage sunday, it was still a great time. It was cool to meet SnoChica, faelina, gerard, and phillyboy. To bad we couldn't get on the same page for some runs, but we'll get em in this winter for sure. How was sunday afternoon?

yeah sunday afternoon was fun as hell. the whole attitude of everyone was so much better than saturday. it just seemed so much more chill. i think there may have been less people on sunday afternoon too but maybe not. and yeah it was nice meeting shredfand, g and fae.

Hehe... at least not hurt to the point of being immobile. My body is a little mad at me for making it use muscles that haven't been used in a while. But for the most part, it's a good kind of pain.
It was really fun getting to know everyone. Meeting Julie, Gerard and Fred was cool.
Now, only 1 Month & 18 Days till Winter Park, CO

i was there all sunday had my purple and yellow legbag but really how many legbaggers did u see, since its the east coast not many ppl know about airblaster, i had my tan airblaster coat and i was had a white skate helmet over a beanie that most of the time i was wearing sick gaper gap style
I saw six or seven different kids wearing leg bags and none of them were you.
