Dunno who likes what, but check this out.. in Asbury Park, NJ: www.thebamboozle.com

I already bought my 3 day pass, since I live 20 mins away. I went to a similar 3 day show the past 2 years too (Skate n Surf).. soo much fun. Usually aren't too many 13 y/os either.

Anyone got the scoop on who's going to be at the Skate and Surf festival? It's a little over a month away and still I see no lineup?! What's with that? The Bamboozle tour looks pretty decent but I'm about showed out for a while. Need a break. I think I've seen everyone at least twice

well the thing is that bamboozle booked all of the same bands as skate and surf and booked all the dates close to what skate and surf was supposed to be. So, they screwed over skate and surf and I think they are in legal battles now.

The Bamboozle has some amazing bands (IE: Anterrabae, It Dies Today, The Blood Brothers, Fear Before the March of Flames, The Early November, Straylight Run, Big D & The Kids Table, Underoath, The Spill Canvas, Mates of State, The Bled, Crime in Stereo), some mediocre bands (IE: Brand New, Thrice, I Can Make A Mess..., Emery, Saosin) and some really ****ty bands (IE: SARCASM [horrible], Vendetta Red, The Starting Line, Midtown, Punchline, Hot Rod Circuit).

I'd rather go to Hellfest, much better bands (mostly hardcore/metalcore(whatever you want to call it) but with some indie bands.

I guess they can really say that the Skate and Surf has been Bamboozled  I was thinking about the fact that most of the good bands out there have been around alot lately and was curious to see if they would come back to Jersey again?!

I can't believe u listed Thrice as mediocre. That's so wrong. =/

Anberlin n FFAF are playin Friday!! IMO Friday is the best show.

Mediocre meaning average. There are so many bands that sound exactly like them and Brand New and Thursday nowadays. I love Thrice, but it's taking the originality away.

I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business is amazing, I don't know why I put them (it's really only Ace from the Early November) as mediocre, I musta been on crack.

I'd much rather listen to some good ol hardcore like With Honor, Casey Jones, Comeback Kid and Bane, or some metalcore(whatever the **** it's called) like The Chariot, Norma Jean, ETID and It Dies Today.

As bad as you may think a band or as average as u think it is there is someone that likes them. Music being good or bad is subjective. I am not a fan of rap, can't stand most of it actually. But, there are others that love it. Just my random thoughts

I haven't decided if I'm going yet or not. If it's sold out I guess I won't have much of a choice....lol. Like I said in one of my previous posts, i've been to so many shows this past physcal year that I'm still on overload. I would like to meet up with some of the peeps from this site. So that may be an initiative to go?! We'll see :)
