Hey Marc. I'm from the Cape. Ride Wachusett a lot - probably at least 12 - 15 times this year. It takes 2 hours door to door (as opposed to at least 3 and 1/2 to any other decent mountain), so it's an easy day trip.

Also been to Loon and Shawnee this year and want to get back up to ME or VT by the end of the season.

Wachusett Pet Peeve - people who ski/ride down Smith-Walton and stop at the top of the steep part - sometimes blocking the whole trail.
