Does anyone here go to any snowboard camps during the summer? I went to MHSSC this past summer and I plan to go for two weeks this coming summer.

well the amount of money a camp runs if the rents can throw down for that go for it. being older i would rather have a whole bunch of knar gear and take a week off if i was doing more than one week. but then again i have never gone to a camp becuase im poor and would rather go kill my self in an avi in slc

Yah HCSC is the BEST! the canadians and friends boasted about COC, i wanted to go to both this year and see which one is better...i doubt anything can be better then HCSC, all the dudes up there (Preston, Kevin, Jesse, ...wow the list def. goes on way too many names) are the coolest. haha travis on the tramps. man, sucks that i got COC plane tickets first and got gipped on goin to HCSC again...i hope i can work there next year

I just got back from Windells and it was Awesome. It was some much fun. We did some much **** our counciler started to get sooo pissed at us but it was sooo funny. Windells is the best Camp i think but i haven't checked the others out so i ain't possitive but i am 99.99% Sure that WINDELLS IS THE BEST!!! If u get the chance to go to a snowboard Camp do it.

usually around 1600-1900 (american) dependin on camps, i havent been to american camps but from the videos n photos it looks liek whistler has a ton more snow. the snows really good too, best around late june, gets soft in the afternoon but thats no surprise.
the village in whistler was the best part, the skatepark n jsut everthinggg.

Ya Hood Gets had more snow this year because Wistler had a ****ty winter. Some people have told me that COC was pretty sick put you have to pay alot for the acctivites. HCSC i heard was bad by some people and awesome by others so i don't really know but i still think windells is the Best because of BOB, the Snack Shack, and soo much more. If anyone has been to more than 1 let me know which one you like better.

too much money just to learn riding skills and trick tips

So for an "adult", being the age of 25 that i am, and having rode for 5 seasons (4 really since I only made it out a few times this past season), which camp would most accommodate me? HCSC, Windells, CoC, or WSSC ? From looking online, CoC and WSSC are pretty pricey, but maybe worth it? HCSC and Windells are a few hundred lower when considering camp costs and airfair (plus no need for a passport since they're in the US.)

I'm going to wssc in Whistler but it's super expensive too. It's about $840 US To snowboard for 3 DAYS!! That doesn't include lodging but it does cover meals but I figure its a once in a lifetime thing and couldn't pass up snowboard in the summer.

^ Rip off man the Whistler glacier isn't as good as the hood one. For what you paid I dropped 200 bucks more and did 8 days at hood back in 01 at Windells.
The Cheapest you'll find any camp will probably either be a late summer or a spring one. My advice would be if you want to really learn blow off High cascade and Windells and either go to Mount hood summer ski and snowboard camp (although some of the good coaches are gone) or truck it up to whistler to I can't remember which camp but its fairly credible.
Now if you want to go hang with uber pro's and be like omg danny kass touch my boobies by all means go to windells or high cascade.

mt.hood has there own camp for about $700-$1000. It looks interesting because the coaches apparently are certified unlike other camps coaches. It also seems to be all about snowboarding the other camps seem to be more about the party.
If your 18+ just get a job at a ski-resort that has perks such as free freestyle lessons.

15 days in chile and argentina riding in fresh snow for the price of 895 euros!!!! Even with the ****ty exchange rate it still comes out as a good deal. Downside is coaching is optional.

that is like this
check it out peoples, in Chile/argentina/soputh america, they have snow while we roast ourselves in the scorching summer right?... so if anyone is planning to go there first of all you don't need $2000, the exchange rate there is awesome, so the foremost important thing you can do is LEARN SPANISH, if you know spanish you can save yourself the hassle just buy a round trip by plane and just fukcing ask, is good because you will be carrying dollars and is a higher currency compared to the currency in South America, it doesn't work the other way around, so just LEARN SPANISH and be you own guide

all I know about MSCC is that they use certified freestyle instructors unlike the other camps that uses some kid who wants to ride for free.
