If you know any info could you help me answer these questions.

1-How good do you think you should be to compete in the beginner competition. I'm not really looking for prizes but more just experience. I'm not very good at park and stuff so I dont know.

2-Do you think it'd be worth a 2 and a half hour drive? I live on the complete opposite side of the state north of boston and do you think it'd be worth the drive if I were to compete in the beginner comp?

dude beginer means beginer. u dont have to be good. if u could just ride over their little five ft jumps in the beginer corse then ur fine.

I was there and registered in advanced. But during practice i snapped my board on the last jump (bigger side). I didn't like the coarse one bit either though. The only fun stuff was the barrels, rainbow, boxes, and street style rail. Their jumps were horrible. I should of just stayed at catamount.

hah that sucks. i got like 27th or sumthin out of like 60-70 kids in advanced. there were sooooo many kids. it was insane. i liked everything besides the jumps. and the hip was wayyy to small.
