For all who are interested: I have contacted Las Lenas and have asked about the possibility of group rates. I'll keep you updated.

right now we are looking at $540 for this:

Prices include seven nights lodging, four meals per day, lift tickets, and free access to all our fitness and entertainment facilities.

Inca Lodge rooms are smaller and have four beds (two bunks). Bathrooms are communal. Guests dine in the hotel’s self-service cafeteria, but otherwise have full access to all hotel facilities. The Inca Lodge is popular with young adults, backpackers and students

Ok, if anyone is really interested in this trip, please PM me so I have your name.

As laundrew said, there is a package for 7 nights lodging at a hostel at the base of the mountain, 7 days of lift tickets, and meals for $540.
This is a link to the hostel: http://www.skiportillo.com/html-eng/hotel-inca.html

It looks like airfare would be around $1200 for most people.

The tentative dates would be august 12th - august 19th.

LOL, i was thinking the same thing! I was gonna ask what the riding was like in Alabama, texas, etc. (you know...just to be a smarta**) but i think i like this thread even better. I heard Las Lenas was the sh!t, although i have yet to go. It should be a relatively inexpensive trip due to the exchange rate working in our favor! Hmmmm...

Why Bolivia? You want to go to Santiago then head up to the resorts. I lived with a Chilean backcountry guide for a season and he runs a back country tour company down there.
