Anybody else here a fan of the documentary about the original Zephyr skating team?
I think Stacy Peralta really did a great job showing just how much the skaters of Dogtown really have influenced just about every aspect of skating today. If you haven't seen the film and skate or just want to see a very well made documentary on an interesting subject definitely check this film out.

I've always been into them since I started skateboarding. I think I even did a report on that whole scene in 8th or 9th grade.
i was disappointed with the film. i was expecting it to be more documentary style and less motion picture
Er....are you talking about Lords of Dogtown, e.? Cause Dogtown and Z-Boys is definitely very much a documentary.

Yah I thought Lords of Dogtown was decent but it's got nothing on the documentary.

I loved the documentary. But since I'm an old fart and was skating way back then, I remember reading about those guys in the magazines. I had such a crush on Peralta.
