Anybody seen this film yet? It's a French thriller written and directed by Michael Haneke. Haneke won the award for Best Director at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival for this film. It's got some great reviews. I'll be going to check it out tonight and I'll let you guys know how it is.

So I have now seen Cache twice and done some research on history concerning the French and Algerians. I believe I finally understand the movie completely. It's an enjoyable movie that really leaves the viewer scratching their head and a little confused. The twist and the ending are hard to pick up on the first time through, but the film is a good watch nonetheless.
The plot is about a family who is sent video shot of their house as if they are under surveillance along with strange and disturbing drawings. The father goes on a mission to try and discover who is sending these. That's all I will go into the plot as I don't want to be a spoiler.
The theme of the movie has to do about racism and classicm specifically with France and their relations with Algerians.
Overall a good movie, but you might need to watch it twice to fully understand everything that Michael Haneke (writer and director), is trying to show you.
7/10...though I am a pretty tough critic and don't give out 10s or even 9s very often.
