According to the forecasts, we're supposed to be getting new snow in Tahoe? What's the chance of me riding fresh pow this weekend?

Yeah i do not believe until I am riding on it. I am in CO and we might be getting some today in the high country but well not see till tomorrow.

The weather forcast is usually either incorrect or late. Last time i went snowboarding, it was late late march and the weather report called for snow. Well, two day went by and it was just warm. This was both good and bad. On the good spectrum, i didn't freeze my ass off. On the bad side, the snow got all sloshy during the day and froze almost solid at night, making for very opposite riding styles at day and night. They groomed it late at night tho, and the next day was the same. but then time came to leave and... ploop! jingle bells....!!! It started snowing about 2 hours after we left, and the report was off by a whole weekend. poo.

so speaking of weather... well i guess it kinda has somethign to do with weather...

I just heard today that Breckenridge doesn't make any snow past December, is that true?

yep that is true. that is how most of the place are in CO.

Is that cuz it's high altitude anyway so the snow stays FOREVER?!?!?!?!

I'm glad I was actually wrong! We just got a couple feet in Tahoe! I think I'm getting brave enough to do that cliff drop tomorrow! :)

usually it snows in tahoe when it rains in the bay area... i hate the rain here though but i hope the snow lasts for a while cause i wanna go up some more

Almost 4 ft over the weekend! I got first trees yesterday!

I believe in the complete opposite of the weather forcast and it's usualy accurate. Anyone from the tri-state area could vouge for that! Well it looks like spring is upon us...it's nice to be outside in a t-shirt but I'm going to miss the snow.

Tahoe's getting dumped again! Almost 2 ft overnight... hey, what's with this? Where was the snow 2 weeks ago?
