i don't htink they're allowed to have st. patrick's day stuff for school, for the same reason they can't have christmas stuff for school. people are too uptight about religion nowadays.

St. Patricks day has nothing to do with any religion tho
Um....did you miss the word "Saint?" Because last time I checked, saints had quite a bit to do with the Catholic religion.
"Saint Patrick's Day (Gaelic: Lá Fhéile Pádraig, March 17) is a Christian feast day which celebrates Saint Patrick (386-493), the patron saint of Ireland. It is a national holiday in the Republic of Ireland (but not Northern Ireland, where it is a bank holiday); the overseas territory of Montserrat; and the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador."

oops... haha i just think of it more as an irish thing than a religious thing

lmao i almost laughed my ass off when i first heard that.
but i could understand where you're coming from... for most people st. patricks day really doesn't have anything to do with religion anymore, it's more about leprechauns and beer and green and being kissed because of your race (again, this is for most people). it's been totally commercialized, just like christmas.

So did anyone drink a little too much on Friday night and then go riding on Saturday morning to find out that a hangover was robbing them of proper balance and mental capacity?
Happened to me and it was awesome. Got a good 2 hours of riding in before I decided to surrender and go home to sleep.
