Boarding Only Resort

There are some "skiers only" resorts, and dont you think there should be some just for boarders?

I don't beleive in the segragation of skiers and boarders. I know there are skier only resorts but I wouldn't say there needs to be a boarders only resort based on that alone. I think there should be and adults only resort. Now that's an idea!!!!

segregation between skiers and snowboarders is just stupid. I ride with a mix group of skiers and boarders, and almost everyone can do both. It's about having fun sliding down a hill of snow, it's doesn't matter what you use to go down on.

But i do agree in having certain peaks dedicated for purely advanced riding. makes it more safe for all involved.

Yeah it would be nice not to have to deal with idiots on a mountain. But, how would you determine who is advanced and who is not.

there shoudl be a snowboard only resort so we dont have to deal with the freaking skiers all the time and their poles hitting our boards.

I'm 50/50. When you have friends who ski, or people who actually can ski, I have no problem. But when you get to a main trail, and you have to play dodge board with noobie skiers and boarders who belong on the bunny slope. i wish for a snowboard only resort.

I ride with some badass skiers and they actually push me so I would have to say no the boarders only mt.

i personally have no problem with skiers and i don't think they should have a problem with boarders. However if they want their little private "skiing only resorts" then we sure as **** should get some "snowboarding only" resorts

i get along with skiiers fine. but a fine tuned boarders only mountain would be pretty awesome.

I voted yes, but not for segragation purposes. I ride with both skiers and boarders. With an all boarder park though, they could concentrate on making a MAMMOTH park. and the best superpipe ever. Imagine an entire Mt. with all the jumps and rails you could stand. A superpipe miles long and god knows how high. Just a "pipe dream" I guess. I do forsee a board only park in the future, just not in those proportions.

It's too bad there's no easy way to determine that anymore - at Vail in the 80's there were runs you could only go down with a certain length of ski...

I think it's a bit hypocritical to be mad that there are skiiers only resorts and then create one that is similarly exclusive. Plus, it would be annoying to get a good group of people together to go.

Yea who would laugh at them when they try a box for the first time and they yardsale all over when they are barley even moving in the first place. Also how about those times when they try to ride straight on a box and each ski slides off for a good racking.
