Hello girls, and boys,

this is a sad time, (at least for me), because winter's almost over, meaning no snowboarding before december here.

I am just curious to know if after winter some of you get the change to go surfing or put their energy into skateboarding...?

Peave,

eva

I'm going to put all of my energy into saving money this summer. Only so I can move WEST! ANd then I can snowboard from November to April/May!

Spring/summer for me means working on my house and garden, there always seems to be something to do. And hiking, mountain biking, a little cruising on my longboard, camping in my VW camper, going to the beach, barbecuing w/friends. This summer I'm headed to England for 2 weeks to visit family. I usually start dreaming about snowboarding in August/September, when I'm getting sick of the Jersey heat and humidity.

I water ski a lot, but I'm also going to be saving up for a new board this summer!

my bike will be coming out next week (if it ever warms up). i live fairly close to where i work, so once it warms up, i don't drive my car as much. i attempt to skateboard, but i was better when i was younger and less fearless.

This summer I plan to learn how to carve the skatebowl... or at least try to!
Other than that, I'm going to bike all over the place, study a lot, and read a ton of books. I'll probably also work out in order to keep muscles for snowboarding.

And in addition to that, I also need to get a job.

well, I dunno about utah though, that's just CO. Or in oregon, you could ride most of the year at Mt. Hood. ;)

Wakeboarding is my change for the summer, it's an awesome way to change things up but when winter ends it's def still depressing because i would rather snowboard. We've got year-round boarding where i am close to but it sucks pretty bad this time of the year.

You can't live in Alaska and not go fishing in the summer. :) I plan on catching my first King Salmon this year.

I'm also thinking about getting a trampoline - I would like to learn how to jump.

I just went rock climbing today for the first time this year and got my gym pass for the summer. I'll probably hit up the skatepark too a bit.

I've been trying to get into skateboarding...but it's a lot different falling on concrete then ice...and oddly i'd rather fall on ice haha. I also have a thing called a freebord...sorta a snowboard simulater..i take that out once in awhile..but yet again concrete holds me back lol

to keep me busy in the meantime..i work my ass off to get sum new gear and pay for some trips over the winter, and a seasons pass. i first started working in November and since then have made about 2000 but AT LEAST 1000 of that was spent on snowboarding gear/trips. and considering i'll have held a job for exactly a year b4 next winter, i don't think my Mommy plans on paying for the outerwear and seasons pass this year..boooo :-( haha
