That's an awesome clip. He did appear to almost over-rotate, so I bet he'll be going for a triple some day.

If I ever even tried a flip I'm sure I'd land:

a wildcat is what that guy did in the vid (or a double wildcat). A backflip would require him to have his body face down the mountain (kinda like a skiing position), then flip backwards. I know it's picky nd watnot, but backflips nd wildcats are diff.

So I suppose it's not possible to do a true backflip when boarding since your body would never really be facing down the mountain... Right?

No it's possible, just harder. It's been done, but i don't know where i saw the vid of hu did it... it's sick tho... and way harder to get a good rotation.
