Well, I only do this part time to earn my pass and other benefits like the joy of teaching....but the perfect life would be as a river runner for a commercial rafting company in the summer. If I were 20 again with no bills, that`s what I would try to do. Imagine running the Colorado River through Grand Canyon all summer long, then going to the resort of your choice as an instructor all year long!!!
Anyhow, summer jobs are usually easy to find...its the winter thats tough and you already have that taken care of. Some ideas might be the Park Service, Forest Service, state parks and private companies who run things like camps, dude ranches, river companies. For cash, not job satisfaction, construction would be a biggie.

My dad does just this, teaching skiing, snowboarding, adaptive in the winter and runs the rivers in the summer!! Let me tell you he has a tough life!!!! He is doing the head waters of the samon to end of the samon. This is month long trip!!! But I just teach part time, I have a real job that pays the bills. I just teach to get free pass's for all my frineds that come and visit me.

I would definitly look up the forest service, there trails and fire crews are usually working from may to octoberish, so it works perfect and your job is usally in the mountains already

I went back to doing work in the Business Intelligence sector to pass the time until next season. Boring as hell, but it pays the bills.

Most of my customers are Business Objects customers.

ok..i get it. yeah..i'm more of a marketing/management type of guy. just wondering, i like to explore all avenues when it come to business. that's funny...on the east coast, BI is slang for business; ex. "I'll call you back, i gotta go handle my BI". i never knew where that came from. you have enlightened me in numerous ways today!
