Okay, just installed it and then stayed up all day (I work nights) playing it...who else is addicted to this game?

good game....I finished it a few months ago......lots a fun to play with all the lights off and your sound cranked up a bit.

i didn't really like it very much. it was just too dark for me, couldn't see anything.

I love Quake too! have`nt gotten around to Quake 4 yet...thats next. Yeah Kelly, Doom 3 is VERY creepy with the lights out...those imps scare the sh!t out of me every time...they jump out at you!

yeah, i didn't mean the game was creepy with the lights out, I meant sitting around playing video games with the lights out sounded a bit creepy ;)

i wasn't too big of a fan for D3. imo, it's really repetitive. plus, i don't know why you could only hold a flashlight with one hand but can not attach it to your weapon.

i'll rather stick to my CS:S. or fear if i want a similar experience to D3.

yeah that is a pain when you get attacked you got drop the light and pick a weapon....dumb...also this thing is so CPU intensive.. I have 2GHZ processor, 128 MB video and 784MB ram and its still choppy on the frame rate.

Yeah man you need a massive machine to run it at full capacity.

But yeah, I used to play Quake 3 on my buddies server all the time. That was when I had dialup. But now Im recruiting people to play so if you guys play Quake3 let me know and we'll figure that **** out.

Hahaha...I hear ya man...try playing it for several hours straight, then go to bed...you have dreams about being in the game.....kinda cool in a sick sort of way!
