General Question

Ok.. what is up people? I'm all for intelligent discussion, but it seems to me that some people post only new posts in this forum. I mean, can't you be just as passionate about snowboarding and start new threads associated with that. Call me crazy, but if I wanted to talk Politics all day, I'd join a Political Forum.

different types of snowboarders, so that it might attract other snowboarders. There is many forums out there, I don't think people who don't snowboard would want to talk about politics in a snowboarding forum if they can go somewhere else. I'm just saying, it's good for the forum to be more diverse in order to draw in different demographics of snowboarders. :)

I prefer sex and food.... at least, that's what we talked about last summer. And that kept us all happy. No arguements, no debates.

this is the political forum as you know and really, how many times do we need to hear "whats a good board for the park" before it gets old...at least politics has new topics all the time....besides, I have tried to get questions answered and even a new topic started and its DAED, DEAD, DEAD in fact I dont recall you ever replying to any thread I started anywhere else...so I dont know what to say....I guess you could just close every political forum down?

I felt that I didn't post on many other sections in this forum besides politics, music and fashion style but I always look in the other sections and there isn't much to post about. I even tried to think of new threads to make but since the season is almost over, I don't have much to talk about.

WHY? Because the more posts the site has, the better the site looks. The better the site looks, the more people want to "invest". The more people invest, the more that money can be put back into the site.

Something like this politics forum seems important to me. Yes we are all snowboarders, but beyond that, how much do many of us have in common? It's interesting to see what people think on all topics, even though we all know the reason we're here is our love for riding. It's important to give people a venue to discuss whatever they'd like...Isn't this a place to get to know your fellow snowboarder? You're not really going to get to know someone through trick tips and gear suggestions alone.

yeah there is only so much about snowboarding that we can talk. We need to have other things to talk about. Basically whatever is talked about its from a snowboarders type of view, and not only that but a young persons view. Most of us are young at least with a few exceptions :lol: but anyway most ppl here wouldn't go onto a politics forum, or whatever forum. The point is, is that this forum should be diverse as someone else mentioned and keep an open mind. If the politics don't interest you then there are other topics to read.
