Hey, I worked at a resort and I'ld see kids w/ them plopped on top of their domes all day everytime they went. If your not gonna wear them, why ya bringing them out? Then they complain that they lost them...well ya wouldn't lose them if they are on your FACE!

I always wear my goggles, never on my head, unless im going up on the lift, cuz the fresh air is refreshing. Cuz here in Az it gets warm to the end of the season and you end up sweating and stuff in ur jacket.

lol, that's an everyday thing i see when i am at the hill. then they complain about the sun gettign in their eyes, but they never actally wera the goggles. there is some kid who rocks it on hsi leg liek a leg bag, and he started bitching one day because he fell and busted the lenses on them.

My eyes water like crazy without goggles...they are a must for me. WTF is this **** about just sittin them on top of your head. Why pay for nice goggles if they aren't serving their purpose?

The super beginner snowbunny types always seem to be the ones that just have them on their head for style. I love my goggles..I didn't pay 80 bucks to have them sit there and do nothin' for me.

I wear mine...they are on my head only when I go in the lodge and its too dark inside to see with em on.

Oh God...sunglasses are gaper? do you make an exception for a hot spring day when googles are just too hot and what if youre wearing a ball cap? Thats the only time I wear sunglasses is when its really warm and never with a beanie....I wear a ball cap. Oh they are at least quality Dragon sunglasses.....am i excused from gaperdom???

hey! hang on a minute!

i wear goggles for 2 reasons: 1) to cut down on the sun, and 2) when it's freezin ass cold. i DO get a little watering w/o them, but not enough to bother me. on those really bright, but not below 0 days, i'd much rather just have sunglasses (plus, then you don't get racoon-goggle tan, which would be bad for my stylin image ;)). plus, there are the days with flat light that drive me mental, so i take off the goggles so i can see the terrain.

then again, my goggles are a pretty mild pair of santa cruz. maybe i'll get another darker pair for really bright days.

for those who wear the sunlgasses on warmer days because they sweat under the goggles, you coudl get two pairs of goggles. have one set for codl days, and have them be traditional snow goggles. then on warmer days, look into a set of goggles designes for a purpose other than snowboard/ski goggles. liek moto cross goggles, lots of comapnies have them designed to breath easier, so sweatign own't be muhc of a problem. and to take care of any fogging, wipe some Never Fog wipes on them and let thme dry before using them. o rget a set of really cheap goggl;es and start removing soem of the foam fromt he vents and what not. that'll allow for more air flow, which means less sweating, and for fogging, once again use Never Fog wipes. so you then can be steezin' and have somethig that works better than a pair fo sun glasses. if all esle fials, then i guess stick to gas station aviators like Dave Schiff does when he rides

I try to wear goggles all the time, unless I'm hiking on a day when it isn't snowing, to protect my eyes and face from the elements.. and of course to be totally steezin'...

Yeah, I totally take mine off my eyes whenever they are doing more harm then good in my opinion. Sometimes in certain light conditions I can't see the terrain properly and so take my goggles off, or get all freaked out. Other times, they're just to fogged up, or have gotten way to much snow and water on them from me falling to see through them properly and I also take them off.


I could care less what anyone else on the mountain thinks I look like, it's like 90% other guys anyways :p

i wear mine everyday all day!!! i change pairs depending on light conditions.. and i wear them when i ride at night too! I would die without my goggles... if i didnt wear my goggles all the time i wouldnt have a bitchin goggle tan like ive got!!

I wear mine primarily for safety reasons (I don't want some dude to show up and hand me my eye over on a fork or something) but now that I got my oakleys, damn I just wear for the hell of soing so, I even wear them when I'm driving! :cool:

It really depends on what sort of head covering I'm wearing, and how sunny the day is, if I wear my goggles or not during a run.

I used to have these really crappy goggles that gave me a horrible headache and just plain looked horrible with my beanie. Needless to say, those didn't get worn very often.

I just got a new pair of goggles recently that are hella a lot better, so when I wear my helmet then I'll wear those new (sexy!) goggles with them. I hate wearing goggles with my beanie, though, because they always twist everything into a funny angle and leave a funny gape for air to come in at.

I think if I had more problems with my eyes watering, etc, I would put up with the ugliness and discomfort of pairing the goggles with my beanie (or just wear my helmet more often, which I should do anyways).

there was a phase when i was in grade 7 or 8 where all the coolkids used to wear their snowgoggles to school on their hats/ in their hair... pointed to the side.. luckily, being a fatkid.. being on top of my headgear+eyewear fashion was the least of my problems..

depends where and waht conditions are. I always bring mine when it looks like its gonna snow or jsut incase usually. But its not for style. When i take trips up to wisconsin i always wear mine. But around chicago it usually never snows hard enough nor do i have a big enough hill where it matters if i weat them so i leave them at home.

i gotta wear goggles b/c if i dont my eyes water like crazzzy and thats just madd annoying. also they cover up a good part of my face so it also helps me keep warm :)
