Well, I used to be...learned to board at Snowbowl last year. Boarded at Sunrise a few times too. Lived in Phoenix untill this year, now live in Portland Or. Mt. Hood is so sick...but I still miss Arizona a lot.

Well, sunny weather (it rains so much here) hiking in the desert and the Grand Canyon, night life in Phoenix, roads.(the roads up here are crap) 75MPH speed limits (they like 55 up here and the cops are nazis), wicked summer thunderstorms. I don`t miss the summer heat and the yellow cloud over Phoenix and the lack of snowboarding.

Snowbowls alright, only good thing is that its only 1-1/2 from phoenix, Sunrise blows... drive to Big Bear less then 6 hours and its a bad ass mountain... Durango/Telluride is only 7-8 hours

Yeah, I live in AZ, but I sure as hell dont represent it. I'm here because I have to be. I have to be cuz I'm a fcuking minor and the law tells me I'm incapable of supporting myself. I hate authority, but thats a whole other topic. Anyway, I live here, but I do NOT ride here. I go one state to the north.

I live in Phoenix and make the trips to snowbowl and sunrise as well. First started about 3 or 4 years ago. Snowbowl is nice because you can leave early in the morning and be home around 8 or 9 - it's not bad for a day trip. I have family with a cabin in Pinetop which is about 1/2 hour away from sunrise so that's where we head for weekend trips. The only other place I've been is Big Bear on opening day and it was ok.
Just checkin in w/ all the other arizonans... hopefully this winter will be much better.

I`m out in Surprise. I go to snowbowl mostly. I like Sunrise , but it`s a haul; usually stay the night in Show Low. Hope we get a good winter like 04!

I go to school here in AZ, but I mostly ride Mt. Hood when I'm back home for breaks. Sometimes I wonder why I went to school here and then I just think of the wonderful weather in the winter, I couldn't deal with the 115 degrees in the summer though. That's just crazy!

Yeah it sucks, but when it gets that bad, I spend all my free time in the White Mountains.
