I think we may be moving towards fascism no matter who is at the wheel. Ill tell you... Hillary Clinton scares me more than Bush... That woman is crazy!
I think that there is a fine line to tread between going to war and letting things lose control. After 911 it was a shock to the country that enabled a desire for security... You cant win... people would be screaming about too much or too little.
One thing that I find funny is any reference between Bush and Hitler... It is too easy of a reference to fall back to. Bush is no Hitler, and they were both driven by different forces. That reference is the one stated most, because it is the most extreme and simplest to make. The nazi party was so slanted and hitler was a madman.
Also as far as it goes, anyone on the far left or right, are usually quite insane if you ever listen to them...

lol... another huge stretch is even comparing the terrorists held there to jews, gypsies, homosexuals and the like... besides, we arent running tests on them and rushing them off to the incinerators now are we? There are alot of bad people out there besides Hitler... Hey... how about Napolean? Bush=Napolean? That movie in the thread was just showing the state of the governement and society... not comparing hitler to bush...
If the government started jailing people with opposing views of the government, then we'd have to worry. We may be taking steps for a more government run nation, but I dont think too much of that is by his doing... That is the way our nation is moving. Alot because of 911, We told the governtment to tighten the reigns, and they are starting to cinch em up pretty tight.
They have insurgents and suspected terrorists there... what kind of crime do you want? One other way that they are not even close to being comparable... Hitler wrote Mein Kampf... We all know that Bush doesn't know how to read or write...

bush's administration is full of messed up people. hell, anybody within the past few decades in american politics of high position is messed up. they never truly focus on the issues at hand, and if they do, they are so out of wack that it just screws things up even more. and for the current administration is just as screwy as they have been in the past.

yeahhh saying bush is comparable to hitler is way too far. I mean, hitler had an amazing ability destroy the values and morals of the people he was leading and somehow twist their minds into thinking they were the superior race. He was an evil genius. Taking in account our president can't pronounce the word nuclear, has all the symptoms of Fedal Alcohol Syndrome (where the mother drinks when shes pregnant and has a messed up kid), and probably has an IQ of like 20, theres no way he could pull off anything Hitler-esque

Who me?....LMOA!
In general response to the thread (I am glad we are at least all talking about it thats a start!)
With regards to the comparrison to Hitler...I have made this comparison a lot and I want to explain what the comparison is in my opinion. I don`t mean it on a personal level or to say that Bush is like Hitler in his idealogy. My comparrison is one of strategy in the manipulation of our Republic. Bush and members of this administration are using the very same tactics to sieze more and more power for the Executive branch. People get their undies all in a bunch anytime a comparison is made, but honestly, that it the most acurate historical comparison with regard to the way they are doing this. In 1933 while Hitler was attempting to consolidate power to himself and the Nazi party, he used the fear of Communism to manipulate the German President (Hindenburg) and the parliment into passing the Enabling Act. His Nazi party set fire to the Reichstag (their Parlimentary building) and blamed it on Communist terrorists. Do a Google on "The Enabling Act of 1933" and compare it to our USA Patriot Act....It is frightening! Like Hitler, Bush and the neocons used 9-11 to prey upon a nation`s grief and fear to get a piece of legislation passed that normally never in a million years would have passed Constitutional scrutiny. Soon, after Hilter legally became dictator of Germany, he began persecuting the Jews and used biblical reference to do so. His rhetoric caused otherwise decent Germans to go along with the atrocities that followed...much the same way that Bush, the Republicans and the religious right are demonizing gays and immigrants. Like Hitler, the Bush admistration is overusing surveilence and putting huge amounts of threat and pressure on our free press to not report.
Even taking Bush out of the equasion, it is very dangerous to our Republic to remove so many of the checks and balances we have set up and place so much power in the hands of the executive branch of government. When making a comparison to Hitler, I am trying to show how easily freedom was lost in Germany through a 100% legal campaign and I see the same thing happening here....are we Nazi Germany...certainly not....at least not yet.....it did not happen overnight in Germany either and plenty of hard working, decent Germans never though it would happen there then and it did...
So please, when I or anyone makes a comparison, don`t go spastic in a knee-jerk reaction and then go into shut down mode.....this is a thing in our collective psychie that we need to overcome. If there was a more acurate comparison with regard to tactics and strategies, I would make it, but Hitler is the most acurate. Not saying his intent is like Hitler`s....I hate the son of a bitch with every fibre of my being, but I don`t think he is that evil....very very stupid and amoral, but not Hitler style evil.
Someone mentioned we are not building concentration camps....well, that is`nt entirely acurate either....KBD and Wackenhut are in fact converting old military bases and other secure facilities into "detention centers" allegedly for housing illegal immigrants awaiting "Processing" On the same note.....a fellow Instructor is also a doctor at a practice out in Astoria Or where they deal with Medicare and Medicade patients and a lot of them are illeagal aliens of Hispanic origin. When this latest hubub on immigration came up, the INS made a lot of raids and there are a bunch of clients that have "dissapeared" often leaving children with no parents and no one can find these people....where did they go and what has happened to them. Reagan had a bunch of these detention centers built during the Central American operations just in case there were massive civil uprisings over this...again, Google search......also, now for the first time in American history, if you want to peacably assemble to protest government action or redress a greivance, you have to get papers and go to "free spech zones" which are miles away from the president.....all of America is supposed to be a free speech zone..... I think if you really do your homework, you will learn, we are closer to Fascism or Oligarchy or Theocracy than you realize.

"Issues at hand" is all just political fodder. They use it to pass legislation for other things.
I believe we will see ww3 also... Did you know that in the bible, the USA doesnt exist? That is at least what Ive heard from some of my real religious friends. We are going to fall out of power some how. Alot of Americans think we are invincible..."Just bomb the bastards and let god sort them out". We are more intertwined with the world, and could be economically crippled with just the loss of a few allies. If the world turns on us... we are screwed.

Yah.. The movies would have had to be 5 hours long to cover everything.... I would have gladly sat through that... lol.
I was very pissed off about Faramir... and pissed off about the Ents. They agreed to go to war, they werent tricked into seeing the aftermath of the Isengard war campaign... Also... I was looking foward to seeing the ent Quickbeam.
The other thing that I was VERY dissapointed in.... I wanted to see the Hobbit Rebellion! the battle against "Sharky" Saruman...
The 3rd movie really started to drag.... all because of this Arwen and Strider love story... Yah it was in the book, but it wasnt prominant. I guess they needed it to keep in not all about the war... They could have taken out a little bit of that crap and squeezed in the Hobbiton battle.
lol, i find it slightly ironic that LotR is based around WW2, and we are having this conversation in a thread based around hitler....

Hahaha!....that irony did`nt dawn on me till you mentioned it...that is weird.....yeah, I totally agree about the ommission of basically a complete and very important chapter in the RTK......how Mordor was trying to reform in the Shire....that was an important part to have ommitted....the whole Ent thing was off base too. The first two movies were very acurate, but a lot went off track in the last movie now that I think about it....and yeah they got obsessed with the love story aspect.

I wanted to see Tom Bombadil also... Except I agree with not putting any of that in there... To make the flow well and have the first part take place exactly as it did in the book, they would have tacked on another good 45 minutes... I was pleased with the first one. My favorite book was the two towers... But my favorite of the movies might be the 1st. Hobbiton was too great and soothing...great opening...
Best battle... Battle of Peleanor Fields...
I love the oliphants....lol.
I must say though that Tolkien was extremely long winded... But that is why they were able to create every aspect of middle earth with precision.

Have you read The Silmarillion? Oh my God.... it is like an alternate Bible.....long winded is right...but he was the master!
I wish Peter Jackson would have made a movie out of The Hobbit....that would have been a great one...not too long and complicated, but really great on the screen!!!!

Have you read The Silmarillion? Oh my God.... it is like an alternate Bible.....long winded is right...but he was the master!
lol... geeez. Havent read it yet. He indeed was the master. Him and CS Lewis were the pioneers of the fantasy genre, correct? I believe they were both writing around the same time.
Tolkien even invented the elf, correct? lol, im drawing a lot on things I think to be true, but Im not 100 percent sure. I believe it was him though and the elves are based on the scandenavian nations. Because of their fair features and I believe in a medieval book or something that the scandenavians were called something to the extent of elves.
For him to create a language.... my god! Tolkien was amazing. Whenever I write, I find myself taking the long breathed approach... then I realize that people are alot more action based now, so I have to contort my writing accordingly. By the way.. I write for fun, nothing published.
No body likes long detail anymore I think.... all because of the internet and tv... lol.

High Fantasy and Sci Fi are bedfellows... I used to be real into Sci-Fi, until I fell into the world of Fantasy. I guess why there is so much love for the genres is that anything goes. You can create any worlds or societies and are not really bound by any laws. You can have a science fiction fantasy... lol, ive been toying with the idea. Magic hits Silicon Valley...

I would say that technology would enhance magic... I was taking it from the angle of....
a huge robotics/military firm has developed machines that contain enough human cells and organs to be able to use magic, and through that, they become war machines... The robots would lack the mental fatigue and have the focus needed to cast massive amounts of spells. Not only that... But when you have a pentium 8 running 160,000 lines of spells a second.... You would have one badass magic casting machine...
Either one of these robots would go AI or it would be an effort to take over the earth... basically, everyone who steps in its way, gets killed...
I dunno... just a thought. I think it would be pretty cool.
My nerd side is showing big time.... :)

Well it sort of is a childrens movie.... I thought the CG in some places was pretty sweet. I laughed through a bit of it.... Whenever they were in any position of leadership. And the end... That movie had heavy christian roots. I havent read the book, but I hear it is the same. It was like Christianity meets Harry Potter...(only because it is kid geared).
I did like how the animals took different sides... what can be better than seeing a beaver shoot a bow? Another thing I found funny was that the Satyrs(fawns, tumnus) were on the good side, when usually they are referred to as demons.

actually, they were forced to love hitler... i mean i'd say about 40% or something really did support him whole-heartedly, because he brought germany out of its economic slum and made it into a world power again after the WWI embarrassment, but a majority were just scared to speak out against him. kind of like how the patriot act makes people scared to be out of the ordinary, because phones are tapped and people are randomly (meaning chosen only if you look middle eastern) selected for baggage check.

You have part of it right, but it is so much more. Fascism is a totalitarian form of government that at it`s core is merge of the corporations and government with a fervent sense of nationalsim and often strong religeous influence. We are not there yet, but that is the direction we are headed. If you want to learn more about what Fascism really is, check this out...it`s breif.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
One could also argue that America is turning into an Oligarchy as well, were the wealthy elite control the government (very basic and crude definition, but you get the point) You are correct that a lot of people do not understand these forms of totalitarian regimes. For example a huge percentage of people cannot tell the difference between Fascism and Communism, but they are light years apart from each other...almost polar opposites.

Dune has been turned into a movie twice, once by david lynch and it just turned out bad becuase the studio made him cut it down to 2 1/2 hrs, and it was remade for the scifi channel as a 6 hour miniseries, which after you take the comercials out, was about 4 hours and change. To understand the political message of Dune you really have to read the book the miniserises, alough much closer to the book, just coudlent include all the information, that and the costume desigher should of been shot.

yeah i never got through dune it was too boring of a read after they started wandering in the desert but the part i read was good but i still like clarke more... and another thing you have to remember about lotr is that tolkien was writing it for himself because he couldn't find a book with a story he wanted to read so he wrote one and then after than it got published and he was in the army so he understood tactics and that made the story more believable like the side door at helms deep

I think Bush a little bit more like Stalin. A crazy man who locked up and silienced those who opposes his ideas (he did get rid of Colin Powell and CIA agents' careers have been ruined because he exposed them), and he doesnt seem to really have any friends (just "advisors"). But lately he has been comparing people who oppose him, to the same people who would try to appease the Nazis in WWII. And has also tried to compare WWII and the Nazis, to the War on Terrorism and terrorists. I think he IS Stalin reborn, because Stalin literally rewrote history to make his causes seem just, and Bush is basically doing the same thing by comparing modern terrorists to Nazis. He obviously needs a history lesson, along with many other lessons that he obviously missed in school (math, english, ect.), but thats another topic. Also like Stalin, Bush (tries) to controll the media (as much as he can, and often does a good job). Bush is also stocking up on bombs and soldiers to use in future wars that he has plans for. Oh, and like the Soviets in their later years, he invaded Afgahnistan and fought the same people, and had the same troubles (and fought against the same weapons WE gave them). And neither of them know/knew how to lead an Army/fight wars, thats why Stalin lost some 28 million people in WWII. But yeah, Id say Stalin all the way.

Yeah, Bush is a puppet and a pushover. He's the puppet of Cheyney, Rice, Rumsfeld, and all the other people who are really in power, including the corprate CEO's of Haliberton and the like. They picked him to be president because they knew he was the lovable idiot, who is a pushover, would do what he is told, and his daddy was president. Bush has done such a crap job with Iraq, even his DAD disagrees with him on how he handled it (but won't admit it right out in public, because even W is still his son, can you blame him though). But like Hitler, he is an a$$hole.
People are really to quick to compare people to Hitler and the Nazis. When in truth NO ONE is like the Nazis. Not even the Neo Nazis are like the Nazis, thats how f*cked up the real Nazis were.
And I think that the main reason why so many Republicans stand by the President isn't really because they think he's a great leader, but because they agree on SOME of the same issues. Lets face it, Bush sucks at leading. Wether being President of the US or of the Houston Astros, or one of his many failed buisnesses, Bush Jr. sucks at leading. I think that's a big problem though in American politics today, is people are so divided on issues, that they'd rather elect total deuche bags who they agree with on a couple issues, than elect someone who could do a great job at helping run the country. I'm very liberal (and will probably join the Green Party when I turn 18), but would deffinately vote for Republican, Senator John McCaine from Arizona. Even though I dont agree with him on several issues, I do believe that he is a great leader, and would do a good job. So when you vote, vote for who will be best to lead the country, not because he supported changing the name of French Fries to "Freedom Fries."

Punkrock89 is right on; Shrub is a stooge, he was hand picked by the real kooks (Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz namely) I did a little research after listening to a host on Air America Radio (progressive talk radio) and it my not be widely known, but these devils have been corrupting our democracy for a loooooong time! When President Ford became President after Nixon resigned, Donald Rumsfeld was Secretary of Defense, Cheney was Ford`s Chief of Staff and I forget what high level position Wolfowitz had. Here is what these creeps did way back then.....you will see a really creepy pattern going on here.....
In around 1972 or 3, President Nixon and Soviet leader Brezhneff (sp???) began the first series of nuclear arms talks since the Cold War began. These early treaties were called Detante (sp??) I assume a French word for peace or something? Anyway, it was the first time that both parties agreed to begin reducing nuclear weapons toward the goal peace between the two superpowers. Well, good old "Rummie and Dickie" would have none of this...."we can`t be having no damn peace with those evil Rooskies!" So they and Wolfowitz began to sabotage Nixon`s work and created a "commission" on the iminent dangers the Soviet Union posed (a bit like PNAC huh?) they claimed that the Soviets were developing new secret "weapons of mass destruction" and that all the arms talks were a subterfuge to stall for time to deploy these new weapons. Funny thing is, the CIA, DIA and NSA who were focussed 24/7 on the Soviet Union said these claims were fantasies and that their data showed the Soviet Union was in real trouble ecconomically and the best US strategy was a stalemate and that in a couple of decades the Soviet Union would collapse from within.....well, we all know who got that one right!
So leading up to the Iraq invasion, these same characters use the same playbook to mislead our government into invading Iraq claiming "the most deadly weapons known to man" and "the smoking gun will come in the form of a mushroom cloud" and we found......NOTHING. So I now have to ask why in the hell weould we beleive them this time with regard to Iran?
Reagan, while I did not agree with him, was way too strong for these guys to gain power. In fact Reagan refered to these people as "the crazies" and he did not want them to gain much power. So yeah, Shrub is the classic "Manchurian Candidate" for these people to forward their own agenda.
my 2 cents worth anyway!;)

Here is a quick link about their activities in the Ford administration....don`t know whether the source is biased or not...arent they all? the world is so polarized that anymore everything is either far right or far left.....bottom line is the factual timeline is what we want, just ignore a writer`s editorial comments....usually the skeleton of a story is factual and the editing dept. puts the "skin" on the story.

Every politician talks about supporting our troops. But they never make any legislature that directly helps the men and women in the armed forces. And when politicians try to blast each other for not voting yes on military spending, its because that money would have gone to old, unneeded, and worthless military programs. Like back in the early-mid 90's when the Republicans wanted a huge raise in inteligance spending....... FOR THE COLD WAR!!! This was after the Soviet Union fell! Bottom line, 98% of all politicians are douche bags. And 100% of them never do the majority of the things they said they would during their campaign. With politicians, you judge them mostly by the good they do, and what they try to do, because they never get much accomplished, and constantly make mistakes.

If you don’t like what your government is doing help change it that’s the beauty of a democracy. Films like that by some professor who is banana sandwich loony is nothing but a low blow to every freedom loving American. Guys like that miss the 60's and want it to be all flower power, let's protest, smoke drugs, and have many STD filled orgies. They are way to far right for anyone’s good; some of the radical things crazies say have a huge negative impact on students. in democracy (or ne other form of government) someone always has the power and power always currupts and in democracy there is more of a struggle for power than in other kinds in a selfless anarchy no one would have the power and selfless people don't look out for themselves but if other people were selfless too it wouldn't matter because some one would always have you back to make sure you get what you need and selfless people don't want power... so if there is no power no one can become currupted and if no one wants power no one will ever become currupted

anarchy won't lead to chaos it will lead to someone taking control and eventually work out exactly like it has and it's true comunism is a good idea
but if people keep thinking how they do democracy is best but it's obvious that it still sucks
the problem isn't how to make a good government with what we have
it's how to make good people with what we have
it's people that make everything bad because people will always look after themselves before everyone else because they have instincts that tell them to stay alive
so they will fight for their lives even when they don't have to
if you think about it most of the people on this planet give into their instincts
and if you think about that you see most people on this planet are animals because of it
so in that since we aren't better than any other animal on this planet
the difference is that we have the brain power to go against what our instincts tell us to do because we can think about what will happen after the action is carried through and what other animal does that?

What's the point of anarchy if it's just gonna go back to how it is?
I think Anarchy will lead to chaos because without a government there will be no laws for us to abide by and there will be no government to enforce them or protect us.
Communism is a dream, unrealistic. It sounds beautiful on paper but it does not harmonize with human nature. Maybe if we were all robots it will work.
Socialism would be a better choice then either of them....
username? tim?
10-02-2006, 07:08 AM
the point of anarchy is that it would be the best form of government(or lack there of) if people made a concious effort to remain in anarchy it would work
i'm not saying there shouldn't be laws that are enforced i'm saying that no one should be personally assigned the job of it
and as for being protected if we tried to change human nature we could make people indifferent to their own comfort but caring about other people's instead
it would work no one has to look out for themselves because someone else is looking out for them and so no one suffers because of something they don't have, which in turn progresses us much farther than ne thing we could think of now
it has to be anarchy though it's the only way it would work
really this idea is the same as socialism or communism which as it's been said are great ideas...
the difference is that socialism and communism are still run by people and there are different power levels and so they will become corrupt
in the anarchy scenario however the people would be governed by an incorruptable idea and everyone would be incharge of making sure the laws are enforced
....and that's the only problem with it. for success it would call on people to be almost totally selfless to look out for the other man before themselves and that's why it or any other government won't work because the people are still selfish
metophor:
if you build something on sand without strengthening the foundation it will fall
we need to focus more on changing the people than changing how they are governed because if we remain how we are we can never build something that will last

I'm saying, democracy is a fine system and I'm happy with it. No system is perfect, so choose the best from what you got.
What I meant by calling anarchy a dream is that it's unrealistic. I don't think you could incorporate that with the people of our time. It would pretty much take us back to barbaric times. We need organization in our world, not disorder. It protects and keeps us in line. Without them, it would be chaotic.
username? tim?
10-02-2006, 08:25 AM
but with how much we know and how many people we have we could survive in barbarac times even with no technology we depend on technology because we have it if it was taken from us we still have the knowledge to survive
lol it might be that my idea of organisation is stange but i'm happier than most of the people i know so it can't be totally bad
but it's not likely that we could evolve to where we are now by chance... now there is either a god or we got lucky
which means that we could do this too either people could find a god or atleast live by most of the codes laid down in the bible (exclude the gay marraige thing cause we'll never get passed that) because if you take the religion out of the bible it is still the best way to live and if you think about what it says you can see that there would never be any pain cause by things people do and the only pain would be when we lose people
or we could just get lucky again and move in small steps
i mean if we just stopped using big farm equipment and thinking of money as the only form of currency you could drop the unemployment rate drastically and raise the quality of life for countless people. if people traded food for something else (we aren't short of food) or worked just for the sake of working
it could happen i used to underestimate people but i know what we could do we just need a different mindset
punkrock89
10-02-2006, 08:59 PM
Anarchy is nothing like Communism. Communism has a strict governmental controll, Anarchy is no governmental controll. And neither would ever work (in the long run). Communism was a good idea, but would never work in real life, people are too greedy to give up a large portion (or all) of thier hard earned money, and give it to people who didn't have to work nearly as hard (and its not fair). Anarchy would never work either, sure a lot of people won't go crazy, but if there's no government, what's to stop someone robbing a 7 Eleven other than a shot gun to the face? Things would go out of control, and would go quickly into mass chaos. If people in LA can't even handle themselves when a crooked cop beats up a black man, what makes you think 180 Million people in the US won't go crazy as well. And with Anarchy, there wouldn't be a government to stop riots, or to rebuild cities after words. So if you really think about it, Communism and Anarchy are both really dumb ideas. The key to having a sucessful government is to have one that's in between the two extremes (like a represenative democracy, which we have).

Agreed; True Marxism is a decent philosophy, but as we have seen from history, it never stays true to the ideal. Very soon, the same gredy, power crazed people who ruin any form of government screw up Communism too. I agree our Representative Republic based on a Constitution which protects the minority from the majority is about the best compromise. I do see powerfull interests eroding our system and steering it more towards Fascism or Oligarchy. I would like to see stronger checks and balances put back upon the Executive branch and I think we would benefit from some Socialism added into our ecconomic system..IE a single payer based national health care system and a viable pension program through bolstering Social Security.

i think we would all benefit from a gunshot to the face because people aren't willing to change or shut the f*** up and take it in the ass so nothing is ever going to get better so i don't see how democracy is a better idea than any of the other ones, because in the longer run it doesn't last either so maybe we should just blow up the world so we can all be happy
you sound like a big fcuk up you should probly just TO yourself

You must be in a really sad place right now.
Id say people are willing to change. Change is a slow process however... And a non-existent process if you want people to be contorted into your own little utopian society.
You were saying forget about currency and go back to bartering? Yah lets just go against what the world has been using for an economic system for the last 2000+ years. Lets do it tomorrow. You start first.
If you do want to barter, go to a supermarket and offer them your services for some food. And what services do you have to offer to the world? Mind you that bartering happens all the time in the world today, It is called "Trade of Service".
If you are so set on making a change and all that, do your part. Go become a Freegan. That is even better than bartering right?
in the longer run it doesn't last either so maybe we should just blow up the world so we can all be happy
Whos to say? Democracy could last... we havent seen its fall. In a long enough timeline everything "dies" at some point. Democracy and every other form of government may have to adapt and change to new environments and eventually become new forms of government altogether.
There is no way that a society without government would work. Human Nature wouldnt allow it. Hierarchies of leadership are formed in almost every mammalian species. So... in essence the lack of "government" I would say is impossible.

why do you guys have to be so harsh..........let's just have a conversation or a debate and not bash anybody for their opinion. He has a right to say what he thinks.
Tim, please let us know how democracy doesn't last and tell us an example of a society that has failed with democracy. Please use examples from history to debate your argument and not what you have heard in the media.
About anarchy and communism, it cannot be encorporated in to our society so I think you should just drop it. They are pleasant to think about, but odviously Anarchy won't last and communism has failed many times.

I think a reason why people are unwilling to change, is in the American culture. People are too lazy, and don't care about the government, or what happens in it. Some of this has to do with their up bringing, of parents who themselves never got into politics, and so growing up, they were never really exposed to politics either.
Just because one country has a society that is so lazy, they wont even take a few minutes out of their day once every 2 years to vote for the person who's suppose to be representing in their government, doesn't mean that Democracy isn't good system. Sure our government is kinda in the sh*tter right now, but that doesn't mean that people can't vote new people in. Hell, the American people are about to do just that in November. 1/3 of the senators and all of the represenatives are up for reelection. So if you just take a couple minutes out of your day come November, we can drastically change what is happening right now.

lol........why do you even make comments like this? You need to learn how to stop sticking your nose in just to stir arguments kid. It's a discussion, not s*** talking. Maybe when you mature and get more educated you'll understand.

You are funny.
I was just saying to have such a warped opinion that the world should just be destroyed... must be a product of the environment he is in... or not. :)
I think you are probably taking more offense to things than "username? tim?" would...

i can't really name any civilizations that were democracies that have fell or what ever...(i think rome(the empire) and athens might have been but idk so i'm not saying for sure) but i know we are and i know that people have been pissed off at other people since the begining of this country and i don't see how that is much better than failure of democracy but the human race has failed so anything that it comes up with is destined to fail
and no i'm not in a sad place (i'm actaully a happy person) i was just putting my ideas out there... just because i think everyone should be shot in the face (or put to death any other way) so we can get some peace doesn't mean that i'm gonna do it or think other people should do it i was just saying that in light of the conversation that was happening then
and all you people shooting down my ideas (which have aparantly been very quotable) didn't read the part about needing to try more to change how people think and see the world than trying to make a government to control them and i'm not saying you need to force them into your views i'm saying we need to get them to realize a more peaceful way of living
although at this point it's more like breaking addictions (or changing human nature what ever you wanna call it)
and some one please tell me what kind of environment i'm in that's making me think all these crazy thoughts cause maybe you're right and i'm just an idiot
i'm just confused as to how people are arguing about me online and i don't even know what they are talking about
