See, I've never been big into ringtones but since i've gotten my new phone (Slvr) it's given me the ability to create my own ringtones and i've gone stir crazy!

Now, in lieu of your regular musical ringtones, I've chosen to have lines from movies as my ringtones. I gave all my friends the choice of picking out a line from a movie and i'll grab it, turn it into their ringtone.

What would your ringtone be on my phone?

So far I have

the sean Williams scott line from Jay and silent bob Strikes back "hey mr. science guy, dont spray that areosol in my eye..I dont want to die...im a noble rabbit" (he sings this in the van)

from Scary movie 3 "I got a bad feeling about this..like everytime an asian person gets behind the wheel?"

That whole long monologue from Samuel L. Jackson in pulp fiction (that bible qoute) as well as the "mcroyal with cheese" thing

lines from Men in tights - "blinking, what the hell are you doing?...Guessing?"

Have you moded your SLVR out yet? Moto SLVR and RAZR are pretty nice for personalizing. I have the SLVR L7 and I've put in the 1000 song limit itunes, changed the startup and shutdown animations and sounds, and put a bunch of really nice skins on it. Making the custom startup/shutdown/screensaver/wallpapers for it is pretty addicting too. Here's a few that I made not too long ago:

You should also get these tools if you don't have them yet:

Motorola Phone Tools - Great for making/uploading custom ring tones, wallpapers, screensavers, and video to your phone. It's also nice for managing calendars and contacts, and syncing up your phone with your pc.

P2kTools - really nice for deleting those locked ringtones and wallpapers the provider puts in, and great for installing new phone skins. Also nice for seem editting.

P2kCommander - nice for seeing hidden files that these other programs wont show you.

Motokit - best tool for changing your startup and shut down screens.

Motomidman - great tool for installing new java games/apps

RSDLite - With the exception of motorola phone tools, you'll probably run into problems connecting to your phone with the other tools. Running RSDLite is what a lot of people do to resolve the problem.

To get the files above, the best way to find them is to google for them specifically. For example, dont just google RSDLite. Google RSDLite.zip

Jesse Ventura:

Bunch of slack-jawed fag--ts around here. This stuff will make you a god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me.

man you guys have way too much time on your hands. i break phones too quick to do anything like that with them. aside from that, i really wouldn't do that anyway, it's just a phone.
