I have a Burton RED Skycap. It's the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. I never ride without it!
i shall have a mooch on the internet and have a look, ta, my boyf has got a bad lieutenant...and it is HUUUGE....i know helmets arent supposed to look cool...but it looked super ridiculous on me, hence why i had to resort to rental ones (iiiiick!).
I have a Giro Encore, which I like. It's a little bulky, so i'm going to look into getting a Salomon Diadem if I can track one down.

I have the Bad Liutenent (nope, can't spell!) and love it. It is pretty big, but I think it's sexy  lol I love the pink and white sooo...
If I knew of some others I'd give you more suggestions, sorry!
i heard there was a pink one...havnt seen it. My boyf has got the bog standard camo green one.
I just dont like bulky ones as they make me feel like my peripheral vision is a little compromised...plus i cant hear properly with it all round my ears!

i have a pro-tec also, it's called a.....i don't know, and i don't think they make it anymore, but it's supposedly more of a spring helmet (though it works all winter) and it looks kind of like the mercenary but with different (and removable) ear flaps and more vents. i would just go to your local shop and look, and if you don't find one you like come back later and look again, until you find one you like. that's what i did.

I wanted this helmet, but nobody around here had it so I couldn't try it on with my goggles or anything. I have a Giro G10...it's okay..but I've heard good things about the fit on the r.e.d hifi's so check them out if you can.

Since I'm a Burton whore, I have a Burton helmet. It fits fine, but it looks big on my head, but I'm used to riding with it now and don't think I'd go back to riding w/just a beanie. But I need to find a pair of goggles that fit better with it. Actually I want to get a pair of prescription goggles.

I also have a Burton R E D Skycap helmet... it does make my head look HUGE but it feels completely protected. It is also very hard to find goggles that fit with it..but i have a pair of oakley wisdoms that sometimes you have to mess around with but they will fit decently, and look nice too. I don't think i could go back to a different helmet that wasn't so big..i don't think i'd feel completey safe, ya know? haha And helmets are a LOT warmer then beanies!!

I used to not wear a helmet, but then I went on vacation to Hawaii and crashed a moped into a wall (I wasn't wearing a helmet) and got a huge concussion and ten stitches in my head so when I came back, I wore a helmet for snowboarding so I didn't hit my head and get brain damage. I don't know if I'll wear one next year, but I probably will. I've learned my lesson about helmets.
nearly all the board shops ive lookedin (so thats 4 as there arnt many in england!) they are all outta helmets! I need one for the snowdome...anyone know any good website that deliver to the dear old UK?

Boardtactics.com has a lot of helmets, but their method of shipping internationally is a little complicated. Dogfunk.com ships internationally but cannot ship certain brands (i.e. they can't ship burton, but are able to ship giro) outside of the US, but they have the most helmets. The-house.com has a form for you to fill out but they have a good selection of helmets.
i shall get onto it straight away :thumb:

I saw a kid crash head first into a rock at MC..all i did was go "OHHHH" and then rub my helmet.
After playing football and being a catcher so many years, wearing a helmet seems to be second nature to me.

I have a R.E.D. Frequency, it has a nice sleek, girlyish design. I've never worn it though. I prefer the blackouts and concussions to keep it real. ;)
