Doom for Windows XP in good 3D

If anyone is as fond of the original Doom, Heretic and Hexen games as I am, you may miss the old DOS days of games like that and wish you could play them with the better graphis of today`s games. Well, I found a utility called Jdoom using the Doomsday engine that lets you run these games on XP with some really decent 3d effects like blood splatter, halos around lights, transparent flame and way better detail on monsters and everything. It is a simple thing to download and install. All you need are the original .WAD files from your games and it converts them. Additionally, there are 3 other files that re-draw weapons, monsters and other effects that make the games come alive again. I have spent more than one sleepless night playing these old games. So if you like the old classics and have the original CD and can get the .WAD files, youre set. If there are any .WAD files you don`t have, I have them all. yeah just dont try running them in dos as a stand alone now... it would go so fast your head would spin. Lets just say i REALLY like X-com, and it took me forever to boot correctly but i finally made a correct boot sector to get it running agin. But DOS runs at your processor's speed... and that is WAY to fast now a days for old games

I have them on my hard drive right now, got them online i think. doom I,II, and the Ultimate doom. not that hard to find if you look.

I use an emulator for them as well, run them from windows
