well there are many genres and subgenres and subsubgenres of music, which one(s) have you been listening to lately? also, what are a few bands in that genre that the rest of us should check out that you recommend?

lately i have been listening to doom metal and crustpunk.

i recommend:

DOOM: asunder, graves at sea, black hell, sleep, electric wizard
CRUSTPUNK: doom, amebix, hellbastard, deviated instinct, axegrinder

i have been listening to a lot of supermega-emo-hip-hop-ultra-transcendental rockabilly-trance-punk-fantastic-hardcore-funk lately. Like Minor Threat, the Cranberries, and Blur.

i listen to a lot of screamo and stuff with a little screaming, i guess you could say hardcore. Underoath is my favorite, senses fail is a close second. it takes awhile to get used to Underoath but after a couple songs its sick as hell

crust is awesome heres some good bands you should check out if you listen to crust

assuck, death mold, moral decay, clusterfux, D.R.I., raw aggression, INDK, and flux of pink indians

but definately the way to go is all the crack type bands, its basically punk/crust/ska like (leftover crack, INDK, Choking Victim, Morning Glory, No Commercial Value, American Distress (all basically the same band with switched out memebers) the code, against all authority, big D and the kids table, Link 80, No-Cash and others

posi hardcore is the way to go...Good Clean Fun, Set Your Goals, Have Heart, etc. And as mentioned before Crack Rock Steady 7 is great. And also, please could people stop saying underoath is hardcore...and same goes for the used...

haha clusterfux local CO stuff. assuck and F.O.P.I. are two of my favorite bands, but assuck is grind and F.O.P.I. is anarcho punk. INDK is pretty intense.

i remember i saw GCF a while back, they put on a fun show; but of course there were a bunch of dicks doing ninja kicks and gay **** like that.

i smoke a lot of ****in pot. and i smoke about 3 packs every 2 weeks, not that bad. i drink as much as possible, but it is alot easier to get weed so that is normally what i do.

i ****ing hate anything past shrooms. seriously, i live in phoenix, so i have a bunch of friends that have or do use meth. i swear they are throwing their ****ing lives away it pisses me off. heroin... stay off that **** man.

yeah man ive always stayed away from meth its like smoking a ****ing porto-potty. ive only done heroin like 3 times- all it does it **** you up and makes things worse. its just sometimes it doesnt look like **** is going anywhere anyway so **** it. i dont plan on doing it ever again tho, the last time i almost O.D. so its really not an issue for me anymore.

but yeah anyway-its easy for me to get alcohol and weed. mickey's 40oz are the way to get down man i love those.
