Wearing Your Collar Down is for Poor People
By I.M. Adick, III
When my ancestors came over to this great country 400 years ago, they had a vision for a utopia, free from minorities, liberals, poor people, homosexuals, and immigrants. There are few today who share such lofty ideals, but we're easy to find: Pastel polo shirts, loafers without socks, tucked-in shirts, but most importantly, collars up.
Call me a douchebag. Call me an arrogant little cocksucking dickhead. Beat the **** out of me if I'm not with fifteen of my B-frat friends (unlikely). But just know this: I interned at Smith Barney this summer. Where did you work? A Blockbuster? That's right you insignificant sack of dog****; I'm going to be your boss. So take your t-shirt wearing, financial aid, blue-collar ass over to Blockbuster and get me a copy of Old School. Do you even own a tuxedo?
Look at my girlfriend. You think she'd go for someone who didn't have his collar up? I don't think so. I remember the night I met her. I bought her so many $9 drinks she couldn't even walk. So I drove her home in my BMW 328ci, but not before I took a few "liberties" with her. The next morning I took her to brunch and went to the mall, where I bought her some blouses. You ******** don't know the first thing about being a gentleman. You probably don't even know how to sail.
When I get out of business school, I'm going to be making $120,000 a year. Add that to my trust fund, and I can buy a country club membership, a ski house, and still have enough money to go barhopping around the city in my designer clothes and ****-eating grin. Maybe I'll offer you a hundred bucks to flip my collar up for me. I earned it you middle-class **** up. I bet you went to public school.
You're so predictable. I bet I can guess your political party just by looking at you. My cronies and I range from elitist northern liberals to heartless conservative bastards. I've wasted enough time with you. Get some rich parents, an internship, and a pink polo with the collar up, and then maybe I'll let you hang out with me.

These aren't NEW ideas assclown, they are ideas that WERE bad ideas back in the 80s, brought back by the Gap or A&F or some other large suck ass retail chain designed to brainwash idiots like you into thinking this is all new and cool and hip and different but really made up by designers and advertising executives that grew up with this shyte the first time around and are too lazy and scared to lose their jobs to try something REALLY new. AND they want the next generation to suffer through the same bad hairstyles and cheezy clothing WE had to wear back then. Dont MAKE me pull out my 80s family album. you dont want to see what aquanet does to mans hair. its scary and BIG and the main cause for the hole in the ozone layer. dont bring it back!

(and George Michael for that matter), New Kids, roller skating, and acid wash jeans. but its back and I am ready to drive the steak through the heart of the evil ad exec who was too lazy to think of something creative and NEW to force the herd or sheep (like you) to think is cool. piss off.

haha, I know what you mean about the 80's family album, I was looking at one the other day. And the clothes are pretty hideous. But in the grand scheme of things...does it really matter what we wear? Who cares. Will anyone remember in 5 or 10 yrs? There will be some other fashion. And if we are dressed the same, what a boring place this world would be.

every since i can remeber ive been poppin my colla poppin poppin my colla
That's exaxtly what was thinking. For full lyrics to the song..
[Chorus: repeat 2X]
Now every since I could remember I been poppin my collar
Poppin poppin my collar, Poppin poppin my collar
Every since I could remember I been working this hoes
And they betta put my money in my hand
[DJ Paul]
Now when it comes to getting bread I got the keys to the bakery
Alot of dudes swear they play man they some fackery
Let me catch a girl up out some work in mah site
And believe I'm gon be atcha in the daylight with a flashlight
I'm tryin to get paid however money is made
Alot dudes like to pay ladies to get laid
But me I ain't no pimp, I just love to borrow
Paper from a fat bitch, a ugly bitch, a model fa real
[Juicy J]
Well you know me by the Juice man hangin out with Big Keith
Standin on tha porch, drinkin liquor, drunk, smokin weed
Trying to get a paycheck, but work that ain't came yet
Thats why I stay in a girl ear to keep that ***** wet
So I could get paid and relax in the shade
And say **** a nine to five cuz a nigga tired of slavin
It's never easy for a playa in tha hood on tha come up
If I meet a gal with three kids or more she get done up
[Chorus]
[Crunchy Blac]
She's just another hoe that I met in the hood
I told her I was Crunchy Black and it was all good
She might as well go on head and suck on my wood
And let me whisper something in her ear if I could
I got some hoes out there bringin ya boy back some good
That ghetty green you know what I mean that bitch is understood
Ain't havin to shout at no mother****in slut
You know I'm actin bitch make cut a ****in rug
You better get out there and get my money in the woods
I'ma hit cha in ya head and leave ya ass with a plug
You know I gotta have, gotta get my money what
These hoes out here be ****ing for a mutha****ing dub, FREAK BITCH!
[Chorus]
So when I'm completely surprised that "frat" kids pop their collers, I'll blame this song. Or maybe where I live? Around here, when we "pop" our collers, we're doing it to classify ourselves as "pimps". I honestly didn't even know frat kids did it - yeah ok, you pop the coller to polo shirts, but everyone wears those now. The "pop" is just a way to say, 'aww yeeeaahhh, I got it foo!'
At least, that's what it's like around here. Again, apparently my city's f.ucked.

Have you heard of gaper.com? Well my friend with Monument snowboards copied the idea with our own local version which features popped collar sightings. Hillarious! The only popped collar I want to see is David Bowie in "Labrynth!"

haha....I had to relive them last night, so I watched Aspen Extreme last night even though it came out in 93.
OMG I love that movie - right next to "The Cutting Edge" and "Ski Patrol."

relax man...at least you won't have to buy any new clothes, you can just pull out all of the old stuff! i think i was feeling everything on that list at one point in time! i gonna make a new trend...shirts made entirely out of collars! then you can pop like 40 collars at once and be an 80's all-star! lol. sorry, I didn't get my coffee yet, a little cranky with thoughts of my high school days.
I think we should all start wearing the HUGE Elvis collars with the studded rhinestones on it. It's like you have blinders on your eyes, you can only see straight. I am bringing back nerd fashion. flooded pants, taped up glasses, pocket protectors. that is what I'm talkin about. chicks will dig me.

Ski Patrol wasn't "Ski School" right? that was a great one. a classic. "It won an academy award. yeah, for best movie EVER MADE." Sorry, already starting to quote Talladega Nights...Funny that the kid in Ski School was also the same character in Summer School (Chainsaw). another great one. I think the bad guys (evil ski instructor frat guys) all had popped collars too...hmmm.

I find fault with this thread. The title alone is flaming someone. Calling someone a douchebag for any reason is offensive. The mods should close this thread down immediately.

i'm just saying that i think it's pretty hypocritical to suddenly take a zero tolerance approach to flaming and then not have a problem with this. it's one or the other but it can't be both.
